whatever the latest OVA episode was called. Hange's scene, from music choice to raw animation, was just perfection in my opinion. Overall that was the culmination of 10 years of buildup and to me felt magical. Also CGI colossals never looked this good.

I didn’t like season 3 part 2 very much. I loved part 1 with Kenny and Reiss. Historia really stepped up but seeing how her story played out kinda ruined things. I was thinking about dropping the series during season 3 part 2. I liked the revelations and the flashbacks but not a fan of the character interactions and all. Attack on Titan was saved because of season 4 and Gabi.

With season 4 it just feels like there is mich more of it (because it has been stretched out over multiple years), for me it is between season 3 or 4. I voted 3 because it felt like such a turning point and I lover it, it opened up the world and there was payoff from the mystery that was built up the previous seasons.

I love season 1 & 2. I’m probably gonna get hate for this idc it’s fine. But season 4 it seems like there are way more lazy done still shots and the characters seem like blowup doll versions of themselves. The shading looks like the berserk cgi anime from 2015-2019 and it just doesn’t sit right with me. The characters don’t look like right annie should basically be the same but she looks different

Unpopular opinion: Season 2. The return after 6 year hiatus, the suspense, the Production I.G animation. The first episode was beyond epic when we saw the beast titan 🤯. The ending was poetic too, the titan that got his mom and shit, Erwin losing he's hand, more epic stuff and that little moment Eren and Mikasa had at the end 😩. It was perfect. 👌🏾

The pacing felt off because of the changes made in the anime. And all changes in the anime were and are being done by Isayama.

Season 1 (Impeccable Setting, Action & Mystery) >= Season 3 (Levi Sakuga, EP17/18 and ANSWERS)
>= Season 2 (Great Revelations, esp. EP6) >= Season 4 (Focus Shift away from Titans, a different kind of good except 3D)

I would say mappa is doing a great job at adapting aot, and I would say it's doing a better job than wit. The pacing feels great and the changes are being done for the better.

Fair. But the enemy were not titans to start with, they were humans. So I would say final season did the best reveal of all, it's the type of military action I always wanted from aot, damn and it happened for real!

I recall being very very swept up in the payoffs and tension of season 3 part two. Could be the time I had been away and invested, but I feel like I was finally getting big returns on the plot twists and the basement. Felt like one big series of events.

Kind of unpopular from what ive seen on twitter and stuff but my favorite season is season 4. The pacing, storytelling, and plot twists are unlike anything else ive seen, its just perfect. And I actually think the animation looks good even tho nobody else does lol. I also love how drastically different the plot became, like seasons 1-3 it was about fighting titans and now season 4 its about fighting humans. Super great change but im not saying seasons 1-3 were bad because thats just not true, all of aot is a masterpiece 😇
