When rewatching Jojo, do you rewatch the whole series or just certain parts?

I've been rewatching Diamond is Unbreakable for a while now, but I didn't rewatch the previous 3 parts beforehand. I'm curious if this is normal. I know that people hate it when people watch the series out of order, but I already did that in my first watch, and I just wanted to rewatch part 4.

if you already watched the whole series, i dont see any problem skiping certain parts and watching others.

Just like i wont ever rewatch part 3, but i can see myself rewatching part 2 and 5, because i already know the context of previous parts.

When I rewatch stuff it’s usually with a person who didn’t watch it yet, so I watched the whole thing again with my best friend and now I’m rewatching again with my gf, so fun seeing their reactions(:

yea there's no problem with rewatching them out of order.
I just really enjoyed all of the parts except part 1. so the little cost to have a perfect rewatch is just 9 episoades or something? So I take it.

Depends on what Part I feel like watching. If I decide i want to watch Part 1 again, I'll do it and probably watch the whole season anyway because it's short. But if I feel like watching Part 5 after that I'll watch it too

Id probably rewatch the parts that i like the least out of them (which i still really like) since i cant understand why part 4 is that popular or part 5 i will rewatch them in the future to see if theres something i missed

As an avid JoJo fan, I can confidently say that DO NOT skip S1 while watching for the first time. I'm saying this because if you don't watch Phantom Blood, then Dio would nowhere be as good of a villian as he is supposed to be. If you want to enjoy Stardust Crusaders to its fullest, make sure to watch the first 9 episodes. A similar story can also be said for Battle Tendency as if you don't watch it, it makes the best protagonist of JoJo look like an old hag who's just there for comic relief. Not only that, it has got one of the best villians in JoJo history (Wammu)and has great chatacters.

For rewatching however, you should probably skip S1 P1 (Phantom Blood) as it is just a boring prologue afterwards but Battle Tendency, atleast for me, is way too good to be skipped.

TL;DR- I don't think you should rewatch P1 but you should rewatch the other parts

If you like Phantom Blood, you should definitely rewatch it but I it just wasn't my cup of tea. Even though JoJo's Bizzare Adventure is probably my favourite anime of all time, Phantom Blood was one of the only anime in my entire life which I dropped. However, I'd be lying if I said that I'd love JoJo as much as I do even without Part 1 because even if I don't like it as much, it is an integral part for the Golden Experience (pun not intended).

I don’t think I’ll ever rewatch the 4th part, but the 3rd part… I’ve already rewatched it like 3 times at least. And I think two of them were like with a few episodes of Phantom Blood.

I just skip part one, I just want to keep part one as a precious memory, don’t wanna tainted by rewatching it, I feel it is the only part that does not get better the more you watch it.

The only part I really rewatch is Part 1 but I pick and choose parts to reread since I prefer reading manga at my own pace rather than stuck to the anime’s time schedule.. and Part 1 is basically a long movie.

I think it would be quite confusing if you didn’t watch the whole series. After all, I think that all of them are great expect for Part 1. I was on the verge of dropping it but I pushed through it. I think it’s an amazing show. If you have the time, watch it all.
