| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Just read a LQ-version of it... So couldn't read all the texts and some pages were only half a page or something. But anyway. - "Arakawa used Phoenix Down." OK not quite, but they managed to do the rentanjutsu circle thing and everybody(?) is alive now. - Scar kills Bradley o/ Yahoo! More comments when a readable version comes :) |

| ..I have to say, Bradley is amazing even without any arms. Jeez, slice through Scar with just his MOUTH. Not even any arms. What the hell lol. But YES, HE FINALLY DIES. I've been waiting for him to kick the bucket since his last fight with GreedLing. And whoot, everyone's alive again and Hohenheim gets to show off some badass move that..I have no idea of understanding. |

| Mangahelpers.com released a better raw and translations. Epic chapter!! A lot of things happened. Hohenheim showing off his power. Father showing godlike abilities. May and Rentanjutsu still active when Father sealed alchemy. Turns out Hohenheim planned ahead. Using the eclipse's shadow as a transmutation circle and part of his Philisopher's Stone to release the souls in Father. As long as the body is still there, it's easy for the souls to return. People of Amestris came back. Still, Father has some power left. Riza, Darius and other chimera still alive, guess they're in the center so they weren't absorbed. Scar and Bradley fight came to a close. Bradley still put up a fight even though Scar sliced his arms. RanFan still alive, also. Bradley had no regrets in his life because humans made his life worth living. Now Scar activates the reverse transmutation circle, calling his arms(?) the sword and shield. Alchemy now back. Ed now starts counterattack! |

| wow, just wow. first father absorbs 50 million(!) souls, but hoenheim uses the circle from the moon after the eclipse to release them, right before a nuclear bomb(?) type thing went off. then over to scar versus the fuhrer , where scar finally gets the upper hand by destroying the fuhrer's hands, but he uses his teeth to land a blow on scar, but then falls, and then lan fan comes over, but spares him as he dies. and now thanks to to scar, everyone can use alchemy again, yipee! |

| I'm going to copy what I posed in another forum as it's too long to retype: Absolutely epic. This will work out much better animated though. Did anybody notice the "nuclear fusion" line? Is that a translation error or has Hohenheim and Advent stumbled onto how to create a nuclear bomb? Advent's reaction to everything this week was great as he just sat in a chair and barely moved half the time. I do love his "WTF Hohenheim" face. I can see him just yelling "Hohenheim" in a similar 'Khan' way. There was some great foreshadowing coming back. Like why Hohenheim was bloodletting himself in those past chapters. Great setup. No use of any Deus Ex Machina here. She used stuff explained why back like with Barry's body to show how the body and soul are attracted to each other. Brilliant. One thing that is interesting is that I thought for sure that Hohenheim would sacrifice himself somewhere in this chapter but since he didn't, I wonder if he's going to actually make it out of this. Also it's interesting in that it seems Ed knew about both Scar's arms and planned a counter-attack around it. I love the fact that Bradley's fell due to him being distracted by the light from the ending eclipse. However he wins major major points in when he used his teeth. He embodies GAR in its purest form and is easily one of the most badass villains ever. The symbolism of him dying while staring at the sky could be taken to represent how he wanted to be free but did his best with what was given him. Bradley's final words might have been a reference to Lin but also reinforce the absolute coldness of this character(he's in a way an almost perfect example of a Machiavellian personality). Notice how his hair gets longer and seems more wildly as he dies. Now that Advent has been knocked back down to abnormal levels(as opposed to God levels), the true counterattack begins. 4 of the greatest alchemists vs 2 Homunculi(I'm not exactly sure how to classify Advent). This is going to get fun. |

| Yet another epic chapter xD I seriously can't wait for the counterattack the next chapter with the Alchemists against Father. I wonder if Mustang will be able to participate since he can't see anything right now... :( x 1,000,000 for his blindness. And finally, Bradley has met his end and I liked how he ended up passing on - sort of peaceful in a sense. Scar ftw! And also, I'm glad that everyone is alive again. What a relief. |

No, he made a sun. Stars are nuclear fusion, you know. Also, "Advent" means "appearance", "arrival". It's not Father's name. :x Advent works out better due to the religious connotations. Father isn't its real name either just something the Homunculi called him in order to represent the familial relationship structure. It seems appropriate to name oneself when being born, or rebirth in this case, so Advent in multiple ways is fitting. Yes I'm aware about the nuclear fusion but the fact that they understood that means they have more than a basic understanding of atomic physics. |

| Hohenheim alone deserves a 5/5. :P He totally kicked ass, this was his chapter all the way. xD Holy sh..., he was just so cool.xD and Ed is going to kick some asses, too, next chapter. :P Time for the main character to show some awesomeness again. Muhaha xD And seriously: this chapter was LONG. How many pages was it? 67? Plus colorpages. Arakawa-sensei worked a lot this time and February is such a short month, too. She really earned my deepest respect, drawing so much awesome stuff in such a short time, she's just the best. <3 |
| Phew! My greatest worry has gone- Arakawa managed to bring back everyone in a way that makes sense! As well turning the situation around for the good guys! Brilliant manga author! Great chapter, Hohenheim was epic in how he can communicate with the souls inside him and make a massive plan like that, as well as using all his powers to defend everyone. May Chang, it was painful to see her badly beat up, but she showed how tough she was with her alchemy skills and like Hohenheim protected the others! Scar was cool, defeating Bradley, who's one of the toughest and best villains I've seen (just won't go down without a heckuva fight! Or unless he loses his arms...), and then initiating the counter-attack. These 3 characters were definitely the highlight for me here. |

Oh, well, I certainly don't think that there's anything too weird about two really intelligent beings, both shaping nations, and both with the ability to control matter at the molecular level would not guess about the existence of nuclear fusion sometime, given a few hundred years to tinker about. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if it was present in the scientific community either. Theories often precede technology by decades, as did fusion in reality, and they don't exactly have a low level of technology in FMA (past a curious lack of airplanes). Advent does sound cooler than Father, of course :v |

| Well, I have a feeling FMA is ending soon...I hope it's not too soon. And I cannot wait to see how the counterattack works. After that, I hope we see Ed get his arm and leg back, Al get his body back, and Mustang get his sight back. ^_^ Anyway, this was an awesome chapter. I was kind of disappointed, though. It was a chapter mainly about Hohenheim...I would have liked to see more Ed action. And I thought the souls were returned to their bodies a little too quickly...it was kind of like "Everyone died, AWESOME!!!...(next chapter) They're all back again...?" I knew everyone would eventually be revived, but didn't suspect so soon. I like Hohenheim, but I would have liked to see him more in the series to get to know his character more before he stepped in suddenly to save the day. I knew Hohenheim had something planned, though. I really liked this chapter, though, and can't wait for the next!!! |

More of a huh moment than anything else. It does make sense though that they would have an understanding due to the transmutation of materials on a possibly sub-atomic level. It also (IMO anyway) brings up the possibility of knowledge of nuclear weapons. It seems that the original anime series wasn't off on many fronts after all. |

| Another great chapter. A part of me wants it to keep coming, but knowing that it's on the brink of its end kinda kills me. Hopefully Hohenhiem dies and the brothers don't get their bodies back? |

| If I had to predict, the manga will end on chapter 108. Thats a special number (108), I forgot but it has a big importance in Japan. Also Death Note ended in 108. |

Hohenheim. Wow. That was seriously badass. Ed and Al backing him up was just awesome. He is a cool father in my books. Mei just won a thousand badass points in my eyes. |

| What a chapter O_O, so now with Alchemy returned I'm sure this awesome battle will continue :3 but Bradley is finally gone =O still fighting at the end though I mean with two hands gone he resorts to his teeth @_@. |

| I'm finally liking Mei. She sure saved them with Hohenheim. "I may have been a terrible father, but at least I can show my boys something cool!" was so sweet. And zomg Bradley. "There's no such thing as 'last words' needed between a king and his partner." o_o I wonder how much his wife'll get to know, and what she'll think. Poor Mustang. It must be pretty confusing for him to be going entirely on sound so much so soon. And now Izumi's distracted. And whatever he does, Ed is probably still going to tell him to sit back. I assume Hawkeye's aware she'd be in the way if she was down there during the alchemy-off, but I'm waiting for her to have some action again. |
| Arakawa pulled it off! YES! This was even better than the previous chapter. Everything's been said really. Bradley's teeth attack and final words were great and the revival made sense (It's amazing that Barry the Chopper's demise was an example of how the process worked). I guess one of the few questions left is Roy's participation in the final battle. He's lost his sight, but because he saw the gate, he should be even more powerful. And we all know how powerful he was before he saw the gate. |

| Ahhh, this was so totally worth the wait! Pure awesome. Too bad Bradley died, he was such a cool villain, but it's better than Scar kicking the bucket. Looking forward to seeing this animated. God, solar eclipse, umbra, nuclear fusions... epic. |
