| Animation Narsus' ,Daryun's & Faranghis' insane opness CGI Magic, Nakama cliché, Unnecessary RomCom (between Arslan and Etoile) Predictableness were its only problems imo. |

It doesn't take an elitist to find all the flaws and reach the conclusion that this is a mediocre show compared to what's out there. | Casual or not, my standards aren't low enough to consider Arslan Senki S1 a "masterpiece" as the poster before you claimed it to be. To keep things brief, ZephSilver's review on AS perfectly captures what I thought was wrong with that show. Whatever, have it your way - 0/10 troll. | That's the best bet... they are re-airing the 1st season, started in january. so yes, I suppose it begins right after, in july. Well let's hope so! :p |

Spring season starts in the first week in April, that is only a month and half from now. If it isn't announced till now then the chance of it coming next spring is slim to none. |

Hmmm, I guess a rewatch is in order. See my response above for why I gave BW/VDM 9. Mononoke is overrated in my opinion. The story is highly derivative compared to one of Ghibli's earlier works, Nausicaa - except that I preferred Nausicaa on the whole. Note that 7 isn't actually a bad rating. If you even read the scoring captions on MAL, 7 is considered good, 8 very good. Regardless, I don't take anime rating seriously,though my practices seem to be affecting you personally. I can't be held responsible for that, though I suppose I should start putting trigger warnings in my posts. |

I only see it listed as 5 episode on MAL however do you have any other sources that say its 5 episodes cause if it is they where probably better off making it as a movie or something. |

Yeah.. I prefer to take people ratings with a grain of salt. We all have our own tastes and if the dude finds more entertainment and value in shows with boobs over a critically acclaimed masterpiece like Princess Mononoke, then that's on him. IMO, I think this show at least gets a 7 in my eyes. It's good enough for me, fulfilled the entertainment value, had a niche of epicness to it, and was an overall solid fun show to watch. |

| What are those shorts? I mean I love the color scheme but man, shorts on Arslan's just doesn't really fit him at his age. But I understand because of the place they're travelling to in Fuijin Ranbu but just shorts. Also, Daryun looks better in full black. I think these are just their casual outfits so it should be fine. I look forward to seeing Arslan in his clothes though. I love the top but not the shorts and leg warmers (what are those, leather wrappings, for what?) |

| Elam looks awesome! :D I was initially really against Arslan Senki because it was adapting Arakawa-sensei's version rather than the novel, but I've gotten over that. I enjoy it more as an action series than a epic and that's fine. I like my warfare stuff. Saying that, is there enough material from the manga to be covered? O.o |

| It killed me! That 8 episodes sounds like a joke to me! I'd patiently wait another year, just to have a normal season with 20-some ep. Hell, I can even wait 2yrs just to see a well made anime with an actual plot, not only some scraps... |
| 8 episodes lol. Maybe they'll get as far as the OVA went with the story. If I remember the 1st season did not even get all the stuff animated that was already in the old OVA (cause OVA was really fast paced). |

| I saw in the official website... I don't understand why the hell. how come 8? so it's not gonna be a second season, instead a new story (come on, WHY)? They had just started covering the novels, I thought it would be 25 episodes again, covering at least books 5-8, when arslan becomes king for realsies. plus not adapting the rest of the story faithfully will not explain the magicians in season 1 and stuff. yah i'm almost throwing a tantrum. |
