I would say Waters 7 // Enies Lobby is where One piece went from a good animanga to legendary status

When I was a child, it was definitely Arlong Park and next Alabasta.

Nowadays, I would say Buggy.

Water 7/Enies Lobby is when it went from great to legendary

Baratie was when One Piece established itself as great. Alabasta was when One Piece became legendary. Water 7/Enies Lobby was when One Piece achieved godhood amongst anime imo of course.

One piece was never consistent for me.
the story was always going up and down MANY TIMES.
THE QUOTE "from which arc one piece started getting good"
the answer for this quote FOR ME it is The LOGUETOWN ARC from east blue saga.

BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT ONE PIECE ONLY GETS BETTER/CONSISTENT FROM LOGUE TOWN ARC.
IT ALSO GETS DOWN/UNINTERESTING MANY TIMES (atleast for me) AFTER LOGUETOWN ARC TOO.

for real, I liked since episode 1. the og anime vibes and the comedy got me super intrigued in the show. now talking about the first really good arc I probably would say arlong park arc but everyone is fortgeting sanji's arc or don krieg's arc. I really liked that arc and already make me cried when I saw sanji's past

I would say Skypiea if you’re reading the manga

Water 7 if you watch the anime

For me it's Water 7+Ennies lobby.

Backstories excluded, Baratie is kinda all over the place with Mihawk stuff, and Arlong park is just 2 group going back and forth like an idiot.

Drum island is also carried by backstory so hard.

Alabasta felt dragged alot, so does skypiea. The plot isn't that bad, but I find the fight isn't interesting for some reason.

My enjoyment was so low on these arc. Heck even the filler arc after skypiea is more enjoyable to me.

I honestly can't say since I didn't follow the story in order; I began reading the manga starting in Marineford, then went back to Thriller Bark and read forward until catching up to Marineford again. Then years later I started reading from Loguetown until Thriller Bark, and finally I watched the earlier arcs in the anime to fill in the stuff that I had previously missed.

But the consensus seems to be Arlong Park or Arabasta.

BTW if you're over 100 episodes into the series and are "bored", then just drop the series because it's obviously not for you. :/

It starts getting a 10/10 anime from romance dawn arc

"No one can rewrite the stars
How can you say you'll be mine?
Everything keeps us apart
And I'm not the one you were meant to find
It's not up to you you
It's not up to me
When everyone tells us what we can be
How can we rewrite the stars?"

For me it was from the Arlong arc when one piece really started to get serious whether it was from the story or the fights point of view..Arlong arc was the very first arc where i realised its gonna be a worth to give a shot to this mammoth series..n believe me whether its story, animation, characters and even music it’ll all start to look good the more time youll give to op

Water 7 was when it clicked to me and I understand why people hyped the anime so much. Up to that point it felt like a fun harmless adventure but in water 7 there was finally was some heavy tension, harsh desisions and a big staked they could not lose.

Arlong park was good but in between wasn't as good. Then there's water 7 but after I didn't enjoy Enies Lobby as much. So I'd say Marineford. One Piece arc are kinda like 1 arc might be good then the next let's relax which gives me mixed feelings.

I think after water 7 it got much interesting than what it was before. That could also be because of the fact that it kinda introduced us to some cool and powerful character.

One piece was good from the first arc. Each arc just kept getting better and better, you'll generally feel sad after the end of every arc because you would've grown attached to the characters and the setting and the location. One piece is just goated.
