Personal interest or not, Hwang will be an incredible ally for whatever endeavor Mount Hua does in the future, also I love the entire interaction between he and his son, you can see that despite being old himself, the son still seeks for wisdom from his father and Hwang responds in kind, never belittling his son’s lack of knowledge but seeing it as an opportunity for him to learn more. Also, since this is my first comment for this series, I just say Cheongmyeong is such a refreshing protagonist for this kind of story, in the sense that there are plenty of op protagonists that make his brothers in martial arts stronger in the process of becoming rich and powerful himself, at least from what I’ve been exposed, but the comedic tone and honest approach they take here makes it way more entertaining than in other Chinese series( this is a Korean series based off a Chinese webnovel). Also, I think this Zhongnan guy will too become an ally of Cheongmyeong and maybe even the bridge that will make both Sects stand in better terms in the future.
