| I'm loving Revy and Fabiola's little funny side moments It's also interesting to see Rock fall deeper into the Roanapur, cut-throat frame of mind while Revy becomes a little more in tune with her emotions when exploring her feelings regarding her relationship with Rock I'm curious to see how that'll turn out |
| I very much enjoyed Rock playing the part of detective this episode. This is one of the strongest displays of his skills we've seen so far with his analysis of how the different gangs of Roanapur will react to the presence and potential conflict between Roberta and US military/intelligence. Revy's relationship with Rock is very interesting. She has certainly changed over the course of the show, becoming a little less nihilistic. Second Barrage expanded their relationship. This episode Bao is even surprised to see Rock without Revy, which really plays into their Rock is a bullet and Revy is a gun metaphor. Benny gets some interesting characterization as well. His discussion with Rock reveals that he too feels the weight of the death of innocents, so he does his best to distance himself from those people before tragedy occurs. These thoughts of his were hinted back during the twins arc from Second Barrage. Sadly Dutch only gets a handful of lines and scenes. He does some interesting reading at least, his bookshelf had Nietszche and he was reading a copy of Quotations From Chairman Mao Tse-Tung in bed. Wish we got more of him. Roberta is having a pretty wild turn. The whole medication angle is really strange to just add to her character, wonder where that will go. |
| Rock and his graffiti art lol. Exhausted and sleepless to help innocent kids, putting his brain to work until it becomes numb, he never takes such things lightly and doesn't want it to all go to hell like before. Unlike Benny, he can't distance himself from problems, but thankfully he's got advice and info from Dutch and undying support from Revy. Seems no one can say no to him, not the Lagoon, not Bao, even Balalaika. And he's aware of that. Garcia bocchan is so cute when sleeping, I wanna take him home~ Mad maids munching on meds, mini maids swimming in pools. I wanna chill in Chang's bed pool too, so unfair :< Finally the gun/bullet moment. Bless the Lord, ave Maria, amen, hallelujah, peanut butter! π Better depicted in the manga but still epically good to see. Blackouting said: Yeah, RITUAL huh, that's how we call it now? Get a clue Rock c'mon, you know where bullets are supposed to be put into πobviously "if you expect me to keep helping you a ritual is needed" = "maybe we should be having sex" *I'm naked rn* |

| The truth is that the quality is really good! Something tells me it will be short but intense. I want them to see Roberta face to face. (I didn't expect the slight fanservice. Lol) Things have probably happened between Rock and Revy that won't be detailed. |
