Good moe characters are the moe girls that I actually have feelings for. And yes, they are moe, but as said above, just poorly executed moe. The girls' moe-ness just felt too forced, and these girls do not feel like real characters to me. But hey, that's just me. |

| I'm just glad that my favorite 2009 anime is back. That's right my fav was K-ON, NOT bakemonogatari (although I did enjoy bakemono a lot) For me it's not about moe, it's about enjoyability and this anime has plenty of that. also, FUCK....ALL....THE....HATERS!!!!! (the fact is, you're not popular, until you have a huge crowd of haters) Just ask the Yankees, Patriots, Lakers, and for that matter the whole USA. |

| The opening was ultra fast... i thought i was gonna die xD lol but it was an okay opening and the ending was good too. So far it is okay...we didn't really get to hear them before yet again >.> |

| Ok the carefree attitude is still there which is good since you watch this to relax and feel a little silly and it still has this weird attraction of making you want to watch even if they don't do anything but drink tea the whole time. The only thing that seemed a little strange to me is that i got the feeling that the moe silly faces and grimace seemed a little forced in comparison with the first season. Like they where trying to confirm themselves that this is K-ON. I must say i hated the OP. That was absolutely awful. It hurt my ears. In general nothing amazingly awesome but still a decent show for what is supposed to do. Nice relaxing atmosphere and cuteness. Watch it while drinking your tea and don't bother if it's popular or not. Oh yeah! Also i didn't like the fact that they cut the concert seen. What better way was there for the first episode of a new season that a live song? Are they mad? |

| After waiting for what seemed like forever for season 2 to be honest so far it dosn't have the same feel of awsomness to it as season 1 did but I did still enjoy it. Can't wait for more concerts and I loved the new ending it isn't "don't say lazy" but still really liked it. |

| Well, seems K-On goes on like in S1. Still as meaningless and rather boring. This is without a doubt one of the weaker first episodes I have seen in this season. Can't understand all the hype. I am not really sure if I can put up with this for another 12 episodes. It has nothing to offer apart from a nice budget. New OP & ED are ok, but even with the OP animation being better than the S1 OP, the song is pretty bad. That's not singing. Actually Yui shouldn't sing at all. ED song is ok, though. The guitar solo was nice, but the thing that annoyed me like all the way through S1 is that they don't bother to show concerts for an extented period of time. Instead we get to see S1 all over again. For a slice and life show with a bit of cuteness and some actual humour I would rather watch Working this season. |

| The first episode almost seemed a little somber to me -- between all the stuff about it being their senior year, the montage to the school song, and being unable to get new members again. It was still cute and fun and I don't know if I could dislike any episode of this show, but it just seemed like an odd way to start out the season. |
| It's like they continued right off from the first season.. Same old, same old... nothing particularly great, new, or interesting about it. Lighting in that first scene was really nice though. OP sucked.. basically. The rotation thing was cool, but to repeat it 3 times within a 1 min interval totally takes value away. |

The fact is just like the popular teams I mentioned, K-ON has a huge fan base, both in Japan and U.S anime viewers, because of this, many "TRUE ANIME FANS" have jumped at anyone who likes the show because, it doesn't have a plot, it's all moe, etc. Watching anime should be a hobby and nothing else, we shouldn't take it to the extremes (Japanese otaku), however this doesn't mean we can't enjoy a simple storyline with moe girls. The great thing about anime is that we get EVERY genre out there from drama, comedy, romance, sci-fi, slice of life, shounen, shoujo, seinen, yuri, yaoi, EVERYTHING. If K-ON is not your cup of tea (no pun intended), DON'T WATCH!!! |
