Yes, my SoundCloud 2025 recap is here! But the execution is awful. It's a long animated slideshow and for every section your most played song of the category plays. But only the 30s preview part, which wouldn't be that bad if the slide didn't spend more than 30s on a page. Then it loops abruptly...

What's worse though is that the whole thing literally crashes every third slide page (at least in the mobile app) if you rely on autoplay. And if it crashes then you are sent back to the beginning. You can't jump to a page and if you swipe too eagerly it crashes again. Please, fix it!

I had my last concert of the semester. It’s a really good feeling when you walk on stage and everyone claps for you. This was such a beautiful moment for me. I sometimes forget the impact I have on people and on my audience, but giving a concert is pure bliss. For a moment, I feel like a celebrity. My hands shake a little because I have a lot of stage panic, but I always manage to control it. I just love what I do, and I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything

Yes, piano is amazing. Glad your concert went well!

For my contribution: I keep thinking about "How Love Live Superstar should have ended" scenarios because of how bad the writing gets after the first season. I've settled on two.

1. Love Live Superstar only gets one season. The ending is slightly tweaked so that instead of a cliffhanger for the next season, Liella sings about how they've finally rediscovered their voice and how their song will ring out now and forever. Luckily, the second season finale song serves that very purpose.

2. Love Live Superstar continues from Starlight Prologue with only the original 5 members up until graduation. It ends similarly to Final Fantasy V where they all go pursue their separate dreams, but a year later, Ren visits a memorial, commenting that despite accomplishing their dreams, she feels sad. Then everyone suddenly comes in to remind her she's not alone and they head off on their next adventure.

I'm lucky it doesn't hurt when I use my left thumb for pressing buttons.

I was trying to get ice and a literal ice blade went under the nail of my thumb. It hurt and it bled.

Dammit lol

@CeciliaAda Maybe it's the sour grapes talking from games being a significant money and time investment, but I do feel a lack of genuine creativity in video games. Back in the 90s, there was a lot of hype behind seeing video game technology keep improving to do things that were not possible in previous generations, such as going from 2D to 3D. But technological improvements have led to diminishing returns, and without that as a crutch, the formulaic nature of the typical video game structure really starts to show itself. And it doesn't help that video game storywriting tends to consist of film school rejects like David Cage.

People still play chess centuries after its conception, to the point entire video game series are dedicated towards making chess AI as accurate as possible. What video game is going to last that long in the public memory?

🤔🤔Well for me these games that I used to like in 2010's aren't really popular these days, MMORPG's aren't clearly the same anymore+browser ones etc, maybe it's more of a mixture of gaming feeling+nostalgia for me ;D but it's not similar kind of nostalgia as compared to life+music things
