| As opposed to real experiences out in the world, it depends on the needs of the person. Social media offers convenience and protection, but undermines real connection and the benefits of risk. Everyone needs something and 2 people may need different things, not everyone needs to go out and not everyone needs to use social media Some people are too stubborn to ever see their toxicity and change how they treat others |

| ^^I believe I've no choice but to agree with you; it is hard to disagree with any point being made with impartiality built into it with phrasing such as "some people", "sometimes", "occasionally", and the like, as there is always an instance of a statement being made under such conditions being correct and/or relevant. ^They can be, yes, but if all you have ever known in your life are petty people then you haven't met enough of them. In order to become a qualified teacher of any given subject, it should be a prerequisite that you held a job for a minimum of two years within a field associated with the subject you wish to teach and have a minimum of 5 years' worth of work history under your belt in full. Field experience broadens your own associations with a subject and improves general understanding of that subject, to the point that when you are teaching someone else you will have a greater perspective in how to make the subject relevant, and possibly even important, to the people you are teaching, as well as have an easier time engaging your prospective students in the first place. |

I think all people can change; but I do think that getting them in the right situations to change is often so unlikely and they have to be willing to change themselves, which can be doubly unlikely; so I do agree that some people aren't worth the effort put in to change their ways. Especially if they repeat behaviors time and time again, proving that they can't be trusted to do real change. SQ |
