| Subaru was overthinking things- "I want to be your friend." and everyone was like- "Aren't we already your friends?" Then Rintaro dropping a bombshell while he and Kaoruko are playing with the sparklers- "I like you." But damn what was that expression on Kaoruko's face? |
| I will admit that I love this anime -- probably my favorite of the season...but the first half of the episode was a bit of a hard watch. I thought it was pretty well established that Subaru was friends with the bois when they studied and hung out. But I guess some traumas just take some time to get over, which is fair. Wasn't expecting that confession at the end though. That was peak. |

| I didn't expect that it was Rintarou who took the first step and confessed, but I get he didn't mean to do it right there, but his feelings were so strong that he couldn't help himself. Looking forward to the next episode, I'm sure Kaoruko is happy and is going to accept the confession; it was just interrupted, and she was taken by surprise. |

@Natsukashiianime best place ever! I only had one day there but it was a great day. Dead right on the sun thing, at sunrise Fujisan is lit full-on and at the right time of year it sets behind it. I didn’t get a sunset, got there on a rainy day and left on a sunny one before evening. Why do they always show the beach yellow tho? Every anime does that!
| @FutoiOtaku It's more aesthetically pleasing, I guess. But much of the sand is from volcanic rock. Go closer to Enoshima, and the beach is almost all black. I've seen the sunrise from the bridge to Enoshima on New Year's Day. Mt Fuji becomes bright red. Great experience. What's funny is that on the beach that they're at, a friend of mine held a BBQ for a lot of people, and I was there. A kite stole my friend's corn. |

Holy freaking cinema🛐🔥 Bro let his intrusive win absolute W. And he's about double down not will out hopefully* Kaoruko face tho, so adorable😭😭 This is indeed ticking most boxes of a perfect romance. So happy for Subaru as well she is slowly and surely getting it and so wholesome to see everyone helping her out and make her feel comfortable. Saku rizz is going strong too. Isn't this beach the same from Rascal series. Enoshima or something. Amazing place to drop the confession/slip up. Cloverworks cooked as usual. Didn't really expect this much progress but depending on how things go at last episode the first season itself might be generational anime in this genre... |

| A masterpiece—such a beautiful episode. Even today’s commemorative illustration was stunning; I swear I’m going to faint from an overdose of sweetness. I got emotional and everything—the animation was gorgeous. I can say with full confidence: this is the best romcom of the season. Rintarou’s confession to Kaoruko was pure art. Love has triumphed. |

| What a wholesome beach episode! Rintarou have finally admitted his feelings for Kaoruko, and I hope we'll end up with a romantic resolution in the finale. Look like we have another ship to sail too. I couldn't be happier. |

| Nice confession at the end, wasn’t expecting it actually, bro just blurted it out by mistake lol, but it sure was well timed and worked incredibly well on Kaoruko, girl was shook to even see Rintaro calling her phone, I may not be as big a fan of this show as a lot of other folks but I will admit this was one of the best parts of the show so far. Subaru’s bit I didn’t care as much for, it felt like a rehash of what we’ve already went through with her, but I did like how it made her become closer with the rest of the group, I’m especially liking her moments with Saku, if they’re being set up to be the side romance then I’m looking forward to it. Now there is one grave sin of this episode, and it’s that we really had a beach episode with no swimsuits lol. I know that’s an insane take that nobody would ever conceive, but I couldn’t help but think of it, it was a jolly wholesome time but you’d think they would do a bit more than put their feet in the water, especially because this is a trip that they all had to coordinate. Eh it’s not a big deal tho, if I wanna see Kaoruko and Subaru in swimsuits, there are places online to find it is all I’ll say lol. |
