| If we are talking about boring alone (no other cons that add to it), then I guess that would have to go to City Hunter. It's just the same shit over and over again. Ryo Saeba is hired for a new mission because the woman hiring him gives him a boner, he beats ass, flirts/acts pervy with the woman only to get beaten up by Kaori. It's like having the same canned soup for dinner over and over again. I'm not an idiot, I know City Hunter is an episodic type series, like Samurai Champloo. But the difference is that Samurai Champloo had an overarching story, and (this factor is more important) different episodes that tackled different adventures. For example, one episode, Mugen, Jin, and Fuu were up against the Yankees, another episode they were tour guides for a man from Holland. So...yeah, I was a fan of City Hunter for a year but I got bored of it. |
