What an ending. I love it, I was giggling so much and at some point, I was crying. THIS IS JUST TOO SWEET!!!!! Among the romance shows I've watched, this one is pretty basic (in a good way), no strange gimmicks, no convoluted plot or plot twists, just pure diabetes and love. The slice of life aspect of it is also very fun, every episode made me wish that I was a part of their group. Great show. |

| Didn't like it as much as others seemed to. Couple wouldn't work out in real life. It would collapse. Story was weak. Would've liked more of the long haired girl and ecchi and fanservice. 4/10 |

| A beautiful love story between two people that everything was supposed to oppose and who finally resemble each other much more than imagined, a story in the style of Romeo and Juliet modernized with a happy ending that can bring back someone love to love! |

| What a masterpiece of a finale. Shifting to Kaoruko's point of view through a flashback after showing only Rintaro's point of view throughout the previous episodes was the best move they could’ve made. I’m glad they started dating, and I really hope we get a second season! |
| That was great! I'm so happy ever since the full group got together there wasnt any drama for the rest of the series. I left this at episode 5 cause I thought the drama and cliffhangers would continue and I'm glad I was wrong. So cute! So wholesome! Makes me want to read the manga but I'll hold off a bit in case they announce season 2. With how beloved this series is I want to hope it does get a S2 announcement soon. |

| I can't find anything to dislike about this anime. A lot of the things people complain about are exactly the things I like about it, or that make it stand out from some other romances (not just anime romances either). Not every romance has to have constant drama over serious things (or even tragedy), misunderstandings that take forever to resolve, or have all the characters be sarcastic jerks who are always doing "witty banter". Sometimes you just want a feel-good show. I also like the focus on friendship, both Rintaro's and Kaoruko's friends. Combined with how Rintaro is at least slightly less bland than some other male MC's in romances, it feels like a show that can appeal to both guys and girls. I'd like to see a season 2 for more Subaru and Saku, maybe more new characters, and more sugary wholesomeness and cake 🍰 |
| straight hair with hime cut Kaoruko is very hot, I hope she goes back to this style, I like her even more now, and she's a stalker a definite plus anyway the drama is shallow, the romance is childish boring and slow, the characters are a bunch of drama queens over the littlest of issue Kaoruko is great tho but show is 1/10 |

| This finale was actually a lot better than I thought it would be. Kaoruko was looking absolutely beautiful in the yukata, probably my favorite look she’s had, and her backstory of how she originally fell in love with Rintaro really added a lot to their original meeting which I thought was pretty cheesy back on episode 1, Rintaro is a bit of a goof for completely forgetting their first interaction but I love what it meant to Kaoruko. And I can’t forget to mention we got a proper confession this time, and with Kaoruko revealing how she’s truly felt all this time, of course she said yes, very sweet ending to the season, a shame we didn’t get to see any of their dating life beyond this but hopefully we might get to see it in anime form one day. And that was it for probably the most hyped romance anime in a long time, but was it as good as the hype? Unfortunately I don’t think so, I was expecting a generational romance anime but it’s really just a straightforward fluffy romance without a lot to make it that special, I also found it to be pretty sappy at times, yeah I think Kaoruko is adorable and I liked Rintaro and his friends, Subaru’s character development was pretty good too, but it just didn’t quite grab me like it did a lot of other people. And you know what? That’s okay, I’m a big romance fan but sometimes one will come along that’s not quite what I wanted it to be. All that being said, I did still like the show quite a bit, it wasn’t bad or average by any means, I had a good time with it despite it not wowing me, and I do hope it gets another season one day. Also the OP and ED were very good, if there’s anything I can’t complain about, it’s those lol, the song here on the final episode was great too. And with that, the CloverWorks triple threat of romance anime is over (if you consider AoButa romance anyway lol), I’m glad I managed to hit all three of them, this one may not have been my favorite but I’m glad it was there alongside Dress-Up Darling and AoButa. |

| And of course Kaoruko loved him since the very beginning haha, cute ending, now they are both going out together while their friends and family are here for them too, what a beautiful world they live in. |
