| Probably the best episode so far and definitely my favorite. And ironically, the romance wasn't the primary focus. I'm finding myself much more interested in the bromance between Rintaro and his friends as well as his family than the romance. Now I'm wondering where Rintaro's dad and older brother or whoever the other dude in the flashback was are. It was probably mentioned already and I just forgot or missed it though. |

| The deep voice of Rintarou's father makes me feel things. Good episode though the efforts to exaggerate the drama regarding Rintarou's elementary school days did make me roll my eyes a bit. Rintarou's mother deciding to dye her hair and pierce her ears as a way to support her son was sweet tho. |
| I didn't think that a backstory on why Rintaro dyed his hair blonde would be so touching but it was, probably because of his mom supporting him after he had given up on making friends. |
