Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku Episode 7 Discussion

Im tired of all the apologies and shit when will something happen? I might just not have a thing for romance animes anymore.

Idk il probably get hate for this but this feels like forced drama especially between school, anime took way to seriously some lame things, and Kaoroku is just smiling all time on everything that happens and they put that scene on quality of 4k wallpaper. No matter what sh** happen she just smiles like she is pillow waifu with only smile on her and thats it.

Pretty meh episode tbh. Rintaro predictable made up with his friends and everyone is cool again, not that it was that serious to begin with but this anime loves to make a mountain out of a molehill with it's "drama". At least this episode wasn't as ridiculously melodramatic as the last one was, except for that cringe Tokyo revengers moment where they all had that standoff with those generic anime hooligans. Also do they really expect me to believe that a 5'3 midget like Ayato could 1v6 that group of guys at the same time?? Yeah okay lmao. It's probably why they didn't show the fight because they knew how ridiculous it would look. I think I'm also going to start playing a drinking game with this show too, take a shot everytime someone says "sorry", I think I counted 8 times in this episode so I'm kinda glad I didn't start with this one lol.

well, this is just way more realistic. they are teenagers. teenagers create drama over nothing.

there is no need for someone dying, or molested or abused or something to create drama.


this show is not about major drama. because in this show people talk. for real, they do. they have problems, and one chapter later at least they talk it out. like real people should do.

its all about the relationships between the different characters. wait untill rinators family gets more important. there will be some of the best written scenes in anime/manga history.

Lmao. Why did the three stooges think following Rintaro was a good idea? But Ig it worked out well for them cause they found out what Rintaro really thinks of them. He is an amazing guy. They should feel bad for ever doubting him. But Ig it all worked out in the end.

Too bad we didn't see a fight scene. But Ig that's not what this anime's about. Ayato looks like a wimp, but he's the best fighter, apparently.

Subaru's wanting to meet Rintaro's friends to apologize to them is already a great development. I'm glad she's not like how I initially thought she was. At this point, I'm liking her more than the actual main heroine.

Yeah, I kinda agree this anime is pretty melodramatic. It doesn't have a lot of "annoying" parts that other romcoms have but that also makes the story seem very plain and predictable. When I watch this it feels like I'm watching some of those Indian romance movie with college students but without the cringe. At least it's wholesome. Maybe a bit too much.

Today’s episode was all about manliness and bravery! I swear he’s a true wolf! The appearance of the brave Ayato—seriously, it’s so refreshing!
What surprised me was Subaru. At first, she appeared strong and courageous! But Waguri showed even greater bravery than her! That really surprised me!
And I’m happy that the friends were reunited again and the misunderstanding was finally resolved.

@0451 I feel like the wholesomeness in this show is a double-edge sword. Yeah it's cute now in the short term but you need more substance than just sunshine and rainbows 24/7 if you want to keep people's interest long term. Seemingly their only attempt to balance that wholesomeness is with over the top melodrama that ends with the characters hitting you with "I'm sorry. Have i mentioned that i'm sorry? I'M SORRY. I A M S O R R Y".
