Odd taxi is an anime about a walrus taxi driver who drives other animals around in his taxi and that's literally it. Just a bunch of furries going on taxi rides. Monster is a slice-of-life romance anime about a very happy brain surgeon guy who has a very successful career with zero setbacks, a fiance and the life of his dreams. He never ever saves the life of anyone problematic and lives a happy life with his fiance, Eva. They are a very happy couple who are head over heels for each other and very lovey-dovey. Eva is not a gold digger and definitely not with him because her daddy told her to be and they live happily ever after together. The disastrous life of Saiki K is a psychological horror anime about an ordinary fellow who goes to school with his very ordinary classmates and nothing out of the ordinary ever happens. Then one day he snaps and everyone dies. It all ends in bloodshed. |

| @Sheol01 Love Live Superstar. 1st season is a surprisingly good exploration of overcoming depression and self-doubt that still touches my heart after a year later from when I first watched it. 2nd season is a disaster that makes nearly everyone unlikeable, otherwise feels like a trite factory produced narrative, and destroys its own credibility with the stupidest cliffhanger ending imaginable. If people are excited about Shiki because of the AiScream meme, she doesn't have much of a role in the actual anime itself. |
