| You mean in movies like for example Pulp Fiction? You mean in video-games like GTA? You mean in sports on television like UFC and at one time WWF back in late 90s (the Attitude Era)? Well, personally, I love gore and violence as content in such media. The matter is how you demonstrate it smartly. There are/were times Quentin Tarantino has been questioned on his thoughts on racism, on religion in general, on politics, on social issues. He knows how to addresses these issues in a way that no other media dares to do so. Video-games on the other hand has been attacked and I don't need to recap on that. You can see others YouTubers depunked this claim. Sports like WWE (previously known as WWF) has lost touch with audience. Now it's family-friendly content, because "CHILDREN" watches WWE. Fuck - that. Every aspect of a media has an audience attracted to it. Even melodramatic, feminine, de-masculine males characters TV-shows has recently become a trend more than a thing in creating, which unfortunately, women consume. I have my wife to attest to that... sadly. To conclude, violence is good, but learn as a director how to demonstrate it smartly if not righteously. | Well it is... Thats why so much work has to be done to discover and rediscover what was silenced or erased. But the ones bombing and committing genocides like israel arent always the victors per say in spite of how many crimes against humanity they do to seem like theyre "winning". Because the truth is still getting out to the public they arent able to "win". Despite bombing media, having corrupt influence on others, killing journalists, medics, civilians they arent "winning" really inspite of that but rather the most bad actors/US supported bonghole. So theyre basically loosing the fight cause the truth and right narrative is still alive making it despite their spin and actions to isolate, censor, kill, threaten and silence other voices. | i was abroad and faced a person who talked and joked very insensitively about something important, but i should not expect people to know how others feel, so i should have calmly and friendly answered all his questions and explained my view without aggression. instead, after trying to brush him off with jokes for a while, i lectured him and called names. and he was older than me. I did come back to apologize and shake hands but he refused. i still regret it, it was a very stupid thing to do abroad, adding to a negative image of people from my country... i should have known better than to get triggered...
