| A cool plot twist was if he tamed and/or attempted to tame the "OP" dragon. But of course that didn't happen so it ended up a chill/cliche ending. My reaction is the standard "meh, it's decent. If there's a sequel maybe I'll watch it but if there's never a sequel made, don't care" |

| Didn't like the finale at all. The combat was always low quality animated in this show and they made most of the episode combat. The lack of animation with mostly still frames, low effort "magic" effects, and defeated monsters just going poof was unsightly. Overall I found the adventuring interesting. Meeting different people and doing exploration of the world was done ok. Could have used a bit more depth though, none of the characters pasts were touched on. Not sure if this will get another season but I'll look forward to it. |

| This ended up being pretty okay; it was enjoyable enough, nothing overly special. I think if I binged this I would've gotten pretty tired of it fast so watching weekly helped spread out it's mediocre bits. If there ends up being a season 2 I'll watch it but not expecting another season to be honest. |

| Well, that's an ending I guess. Oh well, I have to say that I liked the first couple of episodes more than I expected but after that it was more in line with what one would expect. It was fine, definitely had some fun with it. Weird thing is that I don't have a best girl xD. Maybe Maria with my bias for Nao Touyama? Haha. She and Ai Kayano were definitely a big part of why I started watching this show. |

| I can't lie, this is shit. At first, it was like a five or so, but then it went downhill and never recovered. It also doesn't help that the animation was horrid for the supposed "finale." |

| It was such a beautiful ending β€οΈ Honestly, I’m truly satisfied. I won’t even bother talking about those so-called heroes... they honestly disgust me, but I won’t let them ruin the warm feeling this finale gave me. What truly stayed with me was that final moment between Takumi and Sofia.  The way they sat side by side, quietly sharing that space... apologizing to each other, gently, honestly — it was so simple and yet so beautiful. π  That scene was everything. I wish it had lasted just 10 more minutes. It left me with such a beautiful feeling — soft, and full of peace. β€οΈ This final moment made it all worth it. |

| Got cliffhanged with no news of season 2 in sight hate this kind of ending. Story not even started yet its only all character introduction. Should add 12 more episode atleast fight the villain heroes of Sidonia to move the story. So i could rate it 7/10 atleast. Wished could rate it higher. But i welcome season 2 if it happened. XD |

| Huh... I guess this is a RPG style plot. Where the monsters evolves due to the heroes being summoned. The balance, where the strong (supposed light) comes, the strong dark also arrives. . BTW... "So this is their leader", when the twinheaded dragon shows up... Except it looks almost identical to the dragon boss they just killed before in the other dungeon... But somehow... they're having a harder time with this dragon... and had to use the new super swords to beat it... (whereas they took down the dungeon dragon without it and were barely injured) If you want to make the MC party have a challenge with something they have a hard time with... should have at least come up with a stronger boss design than the one you already used... By using the same boss design but having the MC party weaker, just makes it feel like a random debuff given tot he MC party. . And rip that village... sadge... But... what was the point of them sending the heroes to attack the village again? I thought they were going to use regular soldiers or something like the evil king was saying. Not to mention... this is literally a declaration of war. But... the good King didn't mention they're fighting back or anything... So they're just going to stand by and watch as more innocent villagers gets murdered by the heroes eh? Let a few people die over a full-blown war, politics. ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ Other note, those were some cute figurines MC made at the end, lol. I want them too. |

| The episode was alright, but it had this tension that kept building up but in the end never resolved because the "heroes" didn't fight with Takumi and his party and instead it was a happy ending except it was the minor ending I'd say where it was happy but the main issue is or was still unresolved. |

| Overall very good S1 setting up the plot with a great main cast and minimal scenes with the annoying heroes. Animation especially during combat is definitely weak, but that's not supposed to be the focus of the series anyway and kinda feels out of place to have for a finale. Honestly I'd be ok if Sidonia/the heroes didn't exist at all or if there was little to no fighting (not every isekai has to be a combat isekai, and this anime was supposed to be about alchemy and he is definitely making a big impact through his alchemy already), but I guess you need action to retain people's non-existing attention span these days. I'm surprised Akane didn't fight though...I know she didn't train swordsmanship like the others, but I'd figure as a summoned hero she can fight with magic or heal at least. Maybe she was scared of being targeted since she is a refugee, which is fair. I was just thinking the heroes possibly being brainwashed is setting up to give them an out last episode, but it seems they've gone too far from this episode so I hope there's no weak redemption for them later. |
