When I saw the amount of comments I thought the show was being quite liked, only to find that many of the comments were about the slavery part... classic xD.

Anyway, I finally decided to watch it and catch up and I must say I am really enjoying this show. It's a fun and nice watch.

Sora Amamiya, Ai Kayano, Nao Touyama... Not gonna lie, they were the ones that drew me to watch the show in the first place haha.

I really like the goddess, I love her design and she is very cute. I love Sora Amamiya voicing her and how she is the complete opposite of Aqua haha.

It's always great to hear more from Ai Kayano, especially with a more main role. I'm happy for that.

And of course, I'm so damn weak to Nao Touyama's voice <3. I can't help it, she sounds so damn cute! I think Maria is going to be my best girl if she isn't already.

Looking forward to more!

@SkyLETV Indeed. It seems very few understand that it's simply a harem shortcut that doesn't mean real slavery - you don't see them having lumberjack slaves, or something.

Though that would actually be interesting. An actual adult anime. Where both sides of a war hold captives from the other side as slaves. They could have had that in Berserk.

The one show that treats slavery realistically, and not just like "oh there's slavery we must spend the story on ending this," was the TV series Rome from 2005, a show that was awesome in every aspect, with the world's largest set piece, the buildings and streets made to depict ancient Rome. One of the main characters, Pullo, is the son of slaves, which is just treated as matter of fact. He was in the legions and helped capture slaves in Gaul. Everyone knew that the slaves came from societies where their people also had slaves, and former slaves owned slaves themselves.

(So it was on every continent on Earth, among all tribes and then nations. Arabs, Africans, Turks, Indians, etc. Starting with that you wouldn't just kill your enemies in combat, but if you let them live what would you do with them? Not lock them up in a building and just pay for their food forever, without having them do work, that's for sure.)

I don’t know if it’s the fact I have been reading a lot of other mangas but this series is incredibly boring and bland. Feels like a filler ankme for this season

The Mulan Company specializing in slave contacts, and at right for their terms and conditions, it's better than what Takumi feared of thier right being lost, and with Papek putting in a good word for him as a producer, it'd be best to have his mansion be protected and taken care of by someone capable...or rather, 2 people: Maria, who can do general housekeeping, but can also misunderstand things if she sees it in a different way, as well as the Yughur war slave of sylphid Sofia, who has had some deficiencies locked under a curse for 50 years. With that, both Maria and Sofia are contracted under Takumi, for better or for worse.

Both Maria and Sofia getting the preferable treatment from Takumi, though he's as much of a mystery as compared to the slaves with his confidentiality on the line. Takumi wanting everyone to be on the same treatment, as he seeks goddess Nolyn to get clarity on the Church's stance, which Creation worshipped her, and the Guiding Light, which ousted and took over as part of the Holy Empire of Sidonia as she doesn't stand on either side to let humanity decide their own fate, which Akira and Akane are feeling the pinch by their forceful push to have them act as heroes.

Sofia witnessing Takumi's experiments surely didn't paint him as a good person, but his skills definitely unlocked her curse and restored her to full recovery with his light magic, as well as Papek's materials which he acquired. These 2 girls definitely had a good master...but what's with the year-long timeskip?

can't believe an anime finaly took the time to explain the whole slavery technicality and are basicaly just butler and maid ancestor before they got wage. (wich is funny because a lot of anime like kaguya sama has maid folowing their master since childhood and for generation and no one ever talk about it)
