| We are hosting an event/party thing at the hotel I work at today. I'm the only staff member here aside from maintenance and I was told by two different people before they left that we still needed a payment. I talked to a guy who walked in for the party, and he was like "nah fam we gave you a card!" and when I said it was declined, he said that someone else would come in later to give me the card to use and so far only 3 people have shown up and I don't want to be annoying when they're having a Christmas party but also we need the payment because it's like $600 and I'm gonna get in hella trouble if I don't get them to pay. I mean obviously if they don't pay I'll just kick them out but I'm fairly timid and cry when people start getting angry at me so I don't know. I wish this party was yesterday when I wasn't working or that they supplied a working card in the first place! Also they were told not to bring any homemade food/brought from home food, it all had to come from a caterer and they brought chips and drinks and I don't know if that counts or not? Anyways, I'm anxious and I hate dealing with people's money, it's why I quit being a banker. Just let me sit on the computer all day clicking the same two buttons and reading manga please and thank you! |

| Alright so I talked to the original guy who walked in again about payment and he said that the guy will be there soon. More and more people are showing up and still no card. So! The next man who walks in, I tell him we still need to get paid. He says "Oh yeah let me tell the guy who come here!" and then proceeds to call the man I had already talked to twice, who then said "we already paid though!" Like why tf you lying dude you and I both know you didn't or you wouldn't have told me someone else would be paying later. Anyways, he says he paid through a man yesterday here for $500 which isn't even the price of the room. I call my manager because though I can't see a payment I want to double check that they didn't already pay partially. She tells me what I kind of already know, they're just lying to me and to not let them into the room until they pay. Whoops kind of already did that. Anyways, the guy and the other guy start talking because guy #2 is confused as to why it hasn't been paid yet and guy #1 says he has no money on the card. Great. So he then asks if he can pay cash. Yes you can sir! He tells me he'll give me the cash after everyone else shows up... No. I need it now or you're out (I wanted to say this but instead I just said I need the cash before the party goes any further). So he gets the party goers to give him cash to give to me and then tries to short me and then tells me to keep the change after he paid in full (originally like #7 but no thank you I don't want you to accuse me of anything take your money back pls). My manager told me to call the cops if anything remotely out of the ordinary happens and to watch the camera like a hawk since we don't have a card on file to charge if they damage anything. I just wanna go homeeee |
