| The 60s had Hoshi Hyuuma, the 80s had Oozora Tsubasa, the 00s had Shigeno Goro but the 2020s has no one, only small fry who can't even touch the level of peak players. People might say some names from Haikyuu but they wouldn't even play in Fushimi high school girls volleyball reserve team and Blue Lock players wouldn't even be on the bench on that infamous Japan team that won Jr World Cup in the 80s captained by Tsubasa. Also how come there are 0 good pitchers for 20 years already, look at the stats, even the batting is mediocre yet no pitcher can even come close to Uesugi Tatsuya, if Nitta played today he would have like 100 home runs per season and he wasn't even the best batter in history, remember that Hanagata Mitsuru defetead a Kyojin team full of veterans, superstars and umpire help in the 60s. Who can save sports anime?  |

| I'm not interested much in sport anime. "Bamboo Blade" was interesting, but I didn't care for any names. "Houkago Teibou Nisshi" was interesting, but I didn't care for any names. When in some anime I hear some sportsmen's names as references, I don't care. For me important is anime to be fun, interesting, and names of some big sport stars adds 0 to interest. |
