Charismatic protagonists. Stories focused on friendship, personal growth and adventures. It is important that the bonds between the characters are well developed and compeling, with an engaging chemistry in the main group. Must-not-have: Ecchi and harem, specially titles where the focus is fanservice comedy. I’d also like to avoid the typical female love interest type of character that serves no other purpose to the story. I’m not a fan of physical violence as a running gag either. Fantastical/magical violence is okay. Examples for comparison are: Sakura hitting Naruto vs Team Rocket blasting off again. Please keep that in mind when choosing an anime. If you want an example of what I don’t like, Chousoku Henkei Gyrozetter has all of it. ❅ Gift ideas for Santa: I like both old and new anime. I love when they have positive messages, that leave that wholesome feeling at the end, and main characters or groups that are full of positive energy. If it's a sports anime, it would be cool if it focuses on both action and teamwork. I really like seeing everyday situations, so even if it's a more serious anime, it would still be good if there were moments of relaxation. I recently started watching card games, so even if the focus of the anime is a card game or another type of game, that's okay too. Examples of anime I liked within these themes: Ninjala, Shinkalion, Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes. I tend to accumulate a lot of titles on my plan to watch list. It would be really cool if you found something that isn't there yet, but if you recommend me something from the list, I'll also be very happy to finally get to it. And if by chance, looking at my list, you come up with an idea that isn't exactly within the genres I asked for, but you think I'll like it, feel free to recommend it too. In general, I'm a person with very diverse tastes, so I just ask that it’s not something from the genres I said I didn't want to watch. |
