With more eventful scenes it really shows that the animation is low budget. I still like the artstyle tho, they did the best they could with the resources they have.
I wonder how they will escape X, too bad it ended on a cliffhanger

Well that was climactic. Why didn't mom call in the first place? I get it, messages do give off a horror vibe so I guess there's that. I love the direction this show is heading towards. Also, Shuuhei is hot af.

The anime is pretty interesting and horror as well, but they have to improve animation as soon as possible.

Shuuhei was not under Sai’s control, if they are together, they will get over this strange situation quicker. That creature is horrifying, I wonder how they manage to get rid of it.

I doubt the animation will change much going forward, this is low budget

Something tell me that the mom is controlled, she wanted her daughter to stay in her bedroom, a bedroom who have a windows and can be easily reached by X like we saw in the scene with the crow?
Seems fishy to me, specially if the spore thing is truth, it would be hard for X to control someone inside the building unless he open his windows, someone outside of it tho, freaking easy, you're in open space there is nothing to protect and isolate you from the spore.
That either this or her mom is stupid to not realize that staying in a room with a windows is just asking to be a sitting duck, Ryoka couldn't know it because she didn't know what X look like but her mom should be able to see what X look like and see the gigantic tentacle.

@olivebowlr it's literally 10 minutes per episode, worst case scenario you lose half an hour of your time.
