| They're great at animation, but the stories they pick tend to be boring. Dorohedoro is the only thing I found a bit enjoyable from them. |

I have plenty of good memories about Sarazanmai, always loved it and considered it my favorite from the studio

| Vinland Saga season 2 easily: great direction, masterful writing. Although the credit for that doesn't really even go to MAPPA, since they provided very minimal resources for it. |

| @NoelleIsSleepy I completely agree! I loved Sarazanmai since I first watched it and is strange to find someone who also like it! Tho I understand the appeal of Dororo and had fun watching it. Mine would be like this: 1.-Sarazanmai 2.-Jujutsu Kaisen (just for the season 2, didn't like the movie nor season 1) 3.-Banana Fish 4.- Dororo And the rest I don't really care that much or haven't watched it (But I've plans of watching Vinland season 2 and Zombieland Saga) |
| i feel like none of these are good because it was mappa mappa as a studio is just a factory at this point, everything they adapt tends to lack much identity other than looking and sounding the most normal my favorite of these is definitely dororo cuz it was for the most part a mappa original following an old ass manga other than that, imma put jjk even though i fucking hate the show and the story and everything, i feel mappa's best work was on jjk s2 zombieland is still a W also gotta was sarazanmai and older mappa work tbh |

@TheMechaManiac True, It made studio wars a thing where dumbasses fight over which studio is trash and which studio is goated.
This is very stupid for mappa specially cause mappa and bones are probably the most inoffensive studios out there. They don't really even have a signiture style like wit, shaft or trigger.
And anyone who watches seasonals knows for fact that they are far from the worst.
It's a stupid debate and both sides are a disgrace to the community.

Have to say I did a double take when I read this. Imo I view Mappa as being really good at two things:
1. Getting contracts for high quality IP to animate
2. Cranking out hastily created, sloppy looking series.
For high quality animation I would think of KyoAni, Cloverworks, Ufotable, Wit, ComixWave, Ghibli, older madhouse, and occasionally PA Works. I would never associate Mappa with high quality animation though..
I will agree they did their best quality animation work on season one of JJK, from what I've seen.

| @Merve2Love i just gave my opinion on how I enjoyed the show as MAPPA was the one who produced it (it's a good story and since they chose to animate it, I can give them credit for it)..but if you mean in which show MAPPA did a good job apart from the story itself, just the production then there is no way Jujutsu Kaisen is winning (especially after s2)..but yes I got your point. |

| Jujutsu Kaisen" by MAPPA is an absolute masterpiece—full of violent action, stunning animation, and waifu that tramples and step on your heart. Maki Zenin, nobara, yuki_tsukumo, Meimei, they're fierce, strong, dominant, and totally badass. I can already feel the excitement for the next season—the Zenin family arc is going to be legendary! |
