Aqua was drunk. Megumin was too entranced by the outfits. The princess knew it was Kazuma since she mentions later that she wishes Kazuma takes good care of her ring.

when you are close to someone, you can easily tell even if they change appearance, as mentioned earlier, aqua was drunk and megumi was entranced with his outfit, they didn't recognized but that was not the case for princess or darkness

that's why she can recognize both cris and kazuma

The disguise was not fool proof that's why the gang wanted to sneak in instead of what happened.
Darkness recognized Chris because of her silver hair, and then deducted the guy must be Kazuma because of his thief skills and body build.
Chris is the only silver haired character in the series and Darkness adventured with her for a time before season 1, of course she knows her even in a disguise.
Chris also mentions that she can't stay in the capital, she's aware she's easily recognizable.
Kazuma in season 4 still fears that the palace guards he defeated might recognize him by his physique and movements.

Probably because she has worn a Vanir mask in the past, that's my guess.
