| I refuse to connect my lights to an Amazon echo. The reason being is because I've been to a friend's house and he has the smart light bulbs connected to the amazon echo. Just to paint the picture, when you walk into a room, the light switch is immediately within arms' distance when you enter a doorway, it's very accessible. I truly believe there's nothing more amusing and silly than ,rather than flipping the switch which I personally find "little to no effort", watching my friend stand in the doorway "Alexa, turn off lights" - and then it didn't work as intended "light's isn't responding, please check it's network connection" or the amazon echo didn't hear his voice correctly or whatever possible issue. He sometimes stands there at the doorway saying "Alexa turn off lights" 3-4 times until it works as intended. I think it's a gimmick which can be improved upon, technology isn't quite where we want it yet. I refuse to hook up my lights to an Amazon Echo or similar system especially since my switches are easy to manually flip/turn on off. SQ / Light |

I learnt how to read star charts.. use lot of planetarium software on PC as well as smartphone.. these are the ones I currently have.. I like stellarium the best for it's light weight.. for smartphone it's Mobile Observatory.. I also enjoy Universal Sandbox.. Geography |
