| What people want in a partner is part of who they are, and people don't really change. What changes is the relationship. When someone first meets you, they know the part of you they want to know that lets them love you, but when they get to know you better they find out other details that make them love you less. They learn your habits and quirks, and they think it would be easier to find someone else because people are disposable. If one partner is passive in the relationship and doesn't feel the need for the other individual, it will inevitably end unless there is a legal obligation. A high level of sustained lust combined with a binding commitment is how you make it last for multiple years, afaik. Are you someone who wants to be single? |
