All's well that ends well for this lot! They'll keep going on their adventures!

A cool series.
Instead of a horrifying vibe, you get a fun and psychological trauma from the characters backgrounds.

P.S. When the mob characters are turned into a zombie, their human rights are vanished, and you get to kill them—genocide, without any penalties. (A horrifying portrayal)
That's just... Huh? MC's are giving moral lessons but they themselves are killing whenever they please... What irony!
A fictional and inspiring series but would eventually normalize the killing of people.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

This was pretty much an emotional end to what was a fairly lighthearted zombie flick. Just wish I didn’t have to finish it in December but whatever although me saying that, I’m generally very close to when it originally aired which was on Boxing Day last year, yeah what a weird time to finish an anime on but understandable considering there were so many delays with it regarding the production side of things and people having to wait for months on end just for 3 more episodes to come out. Anyways again this was an emotional end to this series, whilst Higarashi’s crew were just plain despicable as individuals, Higarashi on the other hand? He got more backstory as to why he’s the way he is, kind of confused as to why he hates society if all he wanted was to be friends with Akira and his friend group but damn it those flashbacks did make me feel sorry for him. Yeah he’s an asshole but still pretty sad though.

With everything out in the village, Bea was everyone’s last hope with the water wheel destroying the electric fence but the biggest shout out in the entire episode goes to Kumano who fixed up a new bridge to get everyone across to safety away from the zombies and it really felt like they weren’t gonna make it with the zombies closing in on them but thank god Kimano was there to save him in time when he did. Not only that he was the one responsible for leading the villagers in putting the zombies back in the tunnel again as well as fixing the village when the danger is all over. Just props to that man, props to that man right there.

Akira’s group are now looking for a vaccine cure for the zombie disease so they are all heading towards Hokkaido, apparently Akira’s dad’s illness wasn’t anything serious at all glad he’s just fine. I will say it was an enjoyable anime for the most part, probably one of the fewer works I’ve seen that depicts a Zombie Apocalypse as something cheery which is something you don’t see often with this sort of setting because it’s all bleak and miserable not always but that’s always the general feeling when you do something zombie related. It’s something that’s not really taking itself seriously and it realises that, the cast are very enjoyable to watch, the animation really pops like I’ve said before and it’s probably one of the best anime that came out last year. I’ll give Zom 100 a 8/10 from me.

It was a decent story, but what made it good was the underlying motives of exploration and living life to the fullest!

Faithful enough to the manga, and an entertaining watch altogether.

I finally got the time to complete the series. The episode delay made me completely forgot about it lol.

Higurashi's story felt like some MHA villain.
Lmao Akira's dad is just typical men *having minor sickness* "I think I'm going to die".

Looks like they have more important characters in the credits?
It was a fun show. I hope they will adapt a sequel, since the manga is still publishing.

Such a good series!! I love how they perfectly mixed the comedy and sad parts together so it wasnt overly depressing or overly comedic. Like that last arc I thought for sure the dad would die, the entire village would be destroyed, and it would just overall be depressing. Cause thats such a common thing in zombie series, if theres a settlement thats working it'll get destroyed shortly after the main characters arrive. I'm glad they subverted that expectation.

Also I love the foreshadowing right at the beginning of the series when Kencho tells Akira he might be the one to save them from the zombie apocalypse.

Think I'll move onto the manga for this as I've seen the relationship between Akira and Shizuka develops further. Plus I'd just love to see more of this. Shame theres no season 2.

Right in the feels. What a finale... Hemorrhoids? Slurping udon from poop hole? Ah, I really enjoyed the balance of raunchy humor, silly action, some bits of drama, the art style and the different characters. Certainly looking forward to a 2nd bout.

"He just wanted a friend! I forgive him!"

Seriously...I wish they'd done anything else for the last 3 episodes. Hugging the villain and being all like "oh, we can swim together as zombies!" was really, really dumb. They dropped the ball hard, not that the ball was high to begin with...

Liked the fun ending though, enjoyed seeing the three of them write down more bucket list items. Funny that the dad just had hemorroids.

Well done... they actually almost made me tear up in the final momments of Higurashi, even when he's a psychopath and almost killed everyone in the village knowing that he only wanted to stop being and feeling alone was trully sad dood... anyways, this was a trully great final ep, I was the only one who actually thought that Akira's father had cancer??? This series was really worth watching, even more than I expected, I rlly hope they make a second season or something, specially now since the list it's almost reaching the 100, I'm really wondering how they'll save the world (^w^)

Zom 100 started with a lot of promise but the quality just went down as the anime progressed
