| OH FFS like I haven't read the manga when I heard that doorbell I already was thinking and... here's where she gets stabbed in the stomach I first had the feeling of ah I knew it. But then it started fucking hurting so bad like this might be the most hurt I have felt from an anime like ffs i like i fucking can't believe what it made me feel. The introduction to this anime was legendary but Ai was such a major character i can't even imagine what's going to happen next. Only lightly that she is going to become an idol and he an actor. While the ED was playing i just stared at my ceiling to comprehend what was going on. And the ED was so goooood. After the ed also hurts man just this episode alone makes me want to add it to my favorite animes. |

| WTF!?! I thought this series would be mostly about Ai, but she just went and died at the end of the prologue?! Some Vinland vibe here, where likewise the best character dies at the begining... |
| As a fan for many idol groups I could relate very much to the shit that goes inside idols fandoms although i'm not a hardcore fan I still see such comments and tweets roaming online. But man the end really broke me, I never felt connected to a character so much, poor Ai I really cried my heart out at that scene. Peak first episode couldn't get any better |

| had no idea the first episode would be longer than 30 mins, but was throughly impressed. It lives up to the hype, and in a sea of isekais, it truly stands out. Loved the twis and excited to see how this plays out. |

| That was one hell of a first episode. Honestly, one of the best ones I've seen yet. To be fair it did have a much longer runtime. 1hr and 20 mins of runtime is pretty much 4 episodes altogether so quality is expected. The animation is gorgeous and the character designs are so damn good. Especially the eyes. The ugly truth and the lesser-known struggles of the entertainment industry were well showcased here. The only thing I've seen similar to this was in Perfect Blue. They kinda showed the situation with child actors too. The unhealthy amount of competition that they face at such a young age. I love Ai's upbeat personality despite all the struggles. Her death and final and true "I love you" made me tear up ngl. Also, the internet's reaction and the coverage of her story after Ai's death was so realistically portrayed. I hated the stalker at first but tbh that dude wasn't even sane and I can't put the blame on him since Aqua and Ruby's dad was the actual one who plotted all this. Fuck that dude. I really didn't expect this show to take the turn that it has taken as of now. It turned from a subtle slice-of-life idol anime to a crime-solving and grim slice-of-life anime I guess. Whatever it is offering, seems exciting and I'm all here for it. I'm kinda confused about who is raising Ruby and Aqua as of now. Is it the Director or the Strawberry Agency President and his wife? YOASOBI song, in the end, slaps so hard. All in all, a fantastic first episode which has left me wanting for more. I need to start the manga fr |
