| So.. I just finally decided to watch the episode today cause I kept seeing it all over MAL esp with the manga readers saying its really good as well as the people whose seen the 1st episode early..And I wont lie...THE FACT ITS #1 IN THE RANKINGS IS WELL DESERVED!!!! I wont say shes a bad mother, she never treated her kids badly and she did what she thought was best for them while also prioritizing her career at the same time. She spent time with them, she showed them nothing but love even if she may not have said it til the very, sad end :( but it was so beautiful to see how he understood what was going on with the murderer esp when the same person killed him. Aqua connected the dots real fast to their father. Let the revenge BEGIN!!!! I wont lie.. as much as I'm a FMA fan and all, I hope it stays #1 for a good long time cause I wont lie this 1 episode really grabbed every other anime by the nuts and said I'm the boss in this mfer LMFAO. I so would've looooovveeed to see a Mother and Daughter Idol combo. It would've been sick bringing her daughter on stage and revealing their mother n daughter then they both make the crowd go CRAZY with their talents. I wouldve love to have seen that be a thing. Ai Hoshino, may she rest in peace. Beautiful character 10/10 OFF EP 1 ALONE! |

| Omg first pilot episode, 1 hour and 22 mins. basically a MOVIE. I know there are a lot of hyped behind this Anime Adaptation, you know with other Manga that got an Anime it usually failed to meet the expectations but DOGA KOBO Delivering it HARD!! wow i'm actually surprised by this, it really meet up to the HYPED. I thought i'm going in for an Idol show, but it turns out to be a REVENGE STORY. Absolutely Beautiful, crazy behind the scene about the dark side of Idol industry, that PLOT TWIST is INSANE. Holy shit so they hired Rie Takahashi just for one episode? RIP AI HOSHINO. 10/10 Masterpiece First Episode!! |

| My Lord, Aka Akasaka I kneel, Doga Kobo I kneel. What an absolutely amazing premiere. Kaguya-sama being one of my absolute favorites of all time, of course I was already interested in Oshi no Ko, but when I heard it was getting an anime I hold off on reading the manga and boy am I glad I did. After this season is over, I'll definitely probably jump on the manga. Their decision to air this part of the story as a movie is fucking genius, I can't imagine waiting for these developments now across 3 or 4 episodes. Thank you production committee for absolutely destroying me, I really appreciate it. Also, from a business standpoint, this is pretty genius too, I am pretty sure they would've lost some viewers if they didn't hook them now. From what I've heard this is only the tip of the iceberg, only the tip and it's already this good. Though I am going to miss Ai. There's a lot more I can probably say, especially regarding the plot and the things that happened in the episode, but I'll leave it here, as I'll end up writing a whole ass essay. As long as I got across how amazing I think this show is. I rarely rate shows while they're still airing, much less rate them a 10, but Oshi no Ko deserves the 10. I can't wait for the next episode. |
