| the preconception that gaining a ph.d. / university degree etc. etc. automatically makes someone better and must be announced / celebrated everywhere making a very big deal out of it, like on the local news or internet sites (at least, here in italy it happens way too much since 20+ years). i stopped immediately after high school and don't regret a single thing about it. Even if i'm still a pathetic loser that had a probably underserved enjoyable career in jobs because of luck in meeting the right places and people. |

Fuck their "philanthropy," it's all for the sake of making themselves look good seriously, i saw "people" rooting for major sports teams raising funds and making donations to children hospitals or something, and they are the same people that throw stones at the windows of cars and buses of supporters of a rival team, even if they were actual peaceful individuals not belonging to a firm. A kid was harmed and risked to become blind. The same "people" that after criminal acts like that have the audacity of deny, attack and try to reverse attacked and accuser, and act as they are the real victims when the leagues decide to force their team to play home games elsewhere or without audience and / or ban them from going to multiple or specific games on the road. Here in italy it's been like that since the mid 2000's and still they don't want to learn the lesson. With the "beautiful" power of threatening people with violence, they can get away with anything... most of the times, the worst that can happen to them is a 4 years long personal ban from every sports event, forced to sign into a police station at the exact hour of a match to make sure they aren't breaking the punishment. f... them. |
