| i'm not reading the whole thread, 4 pages of stuff probably 3 years old like this anime. but. i liked it, have rewatched it more than 2 times now. Jap. and Sentai's Eng. and i'm sorry it was a Pump and Dump Promo Anime. Staple's first headliner not-H title. their anime-o-graphy is here on MAL look it up yourself. but 2 seasons of Tale of Wedding Rings and that long azz Watari-kun anime... and Staple couldn't get a S2 for Vermeil? maybe because the manga has no English official version 'the West' couldn't care to help fund it? another reason to pity poor Vermeil? if Sentai gets a show, even if they dub it... well. it isn't going to be a high-dollar, media expanding title. ahhh... except for DanMachi and Call of the Night. they did ok with My Teen ROMCOM is SNAFU. even if they did initially release the first disk sets only in Japanese to 'the West'. but other than those 3 titles... Sentai doesn't have enough bankroll to net the 'big fish' franchises. including the new ones. none i can remember, and i've been following their company since they formed after ADV Films dissolved. i'm not a manga reader but i was curious so i looked Vermeil up. even with fanslations of scans... and you manga fans do know how irregular fanslation circles' releases are.... but for a Monthly... Vermeil seems to be a slow chapter releaser. Chapter 36 point something? was just uploaded less than 2 months ago on 'one of those manga sites'. two chapters were uploaded the same day. before that? 'that site' had no new Chapters since July this year. strangely enough in October tankobon Vol 10 was released in Japan. so Monthly Shonen Gangan is still putting Vermeil out there. will it ever get a S2? doubt it. should it? i think so. :) |
