Even just talking about personality, most of them aren't worth praising. You either get boring ones like Lisa, Unohana, and Isane, or rude/aggressive ones like Hiyori, Soi Fon, Apacci, etc.

And then there is Rukia, who is underrated and not underrated at the same time. It’s no surprise that, along with Ichigoat, she’s the best character in the series, since she was originally meant to be the mc. Yet, somehow, nobody’s talking about her, and her fanbase is nowhere to be seen, but she’s still, quote on quote, ‘Bleach fandom’s darling’, with winning VIZ’s character popularity poll. Probably the lack of... assets.
