This show may not be the best but its great to see how mature Yoshida is and no matter how bitch Sayu and dumb can she be she's been a great character for a fun show. Been a ride Higehiro and your sketchy title.

People praise this anime a lot, but I just can't wrap my head around Yoshida being considered a good guy with great morals while he's literally just a "long game groomer" with this ending. Also Gotou and Mishima were just weird to have around as love interests when they only affected the story through Sayu, it's like a fake harem. And the way this show handles rape is also just nauseating.

Well that was a lovely ending. Good on Yoshida for rejecting Sayu again like that. What the heck was up with that final scene though. She's back!?

I really did enjoy this show, the visuals were pretty great, and the story was great too, it actually made me shed some tears, which is something not many shows can do. I think I'll be remembering this one for a long time. Gets an 8/10 from me.

I'm dissatisfied with ending. I had hope that Yoshida, after seeing how abusive Sayu's mother is, and her brother passive, will say something like "I can't leave you here / let's go home / you're always welcome at home (the real one=his) / if anything happens I will come back for you immediately" or to her mother "It's not how family looks like, I'm her real one". Especially he knew Sayu was happy, relaxed and safe with him. I kept hope, they reunite, till the bitter end.

I wanted Yoshida to be more honest with himself, too. And Sayu as well. Even her brother give him credit, declared the age doesn't matter. To me it seems like he obliquely asked Yoshida to take care of Sayu, because it will be safer and better for her to live with someone who loves her, instead of staying with violent mother. He could realise at this moment that's ok to be in love with her. I mean, it was equal, respectful relationship, so imo it was fine to them to become lovers.

That goodbye was creepy, like Yoshida was trying to run away. That made me sad. Seeing them apart was painful too.

Last scene is total mindfuck for me. She came to stay for good? Or wtf? (also here I hoped she said "my home is here"). I wish there was an explanation.

Glad I got to watch this anime. Honestly it was the OP that made me binge this in few days. I really enjoyed the MC at first. Dude was kind and caring and I guess he slowly fell in love with Sayu, but because of laws, he had to constantly tell himself not to approach Sayu like that. But this ended up being “wait till she’s legal” kind of thing. I say he should’ve accepted Gotou(assuming he rejected her in the ED). I really thought he would end up being a guardian to her. In the end, Sayu won I suppose.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
