| At the beginning I felt that this was just going to be another dbz or naruto, and that I will most probably drop it in b/w, but now after completing it I can tell that it was worth it(though it was a lot like naruto and dbz ツ) |
| Well the last episode wow i've made it this far so proud of myself, yeah not gonna lie for a last episode i expected more from this anime but whatever at least Gon has finally had a proper meet up with his father ... i fell asleep a couple times during the last episode because i got bored of the talking and i don't know what's the deal with the birds and the tree but one thing i'm missing is why didn't Kurapika show up one last time i know we've seen images of him sitting but it would've been better if he was brought up during the last couple of episodes same way Leorio was able to come. Okay this anime was good it had great moments but also it was so boring and annoying at times like so many episodes were just a complete waste of time. but as a whole it's fine but it could've been shorter. i really wanna be positive and all and i did enjoy this anime but to be honest Hunter x Hunter is exhausting and all over the place because the questionable arcs and plots sometimes have no connection or purpose for the story it's all just random as hell. like aside from the hunter exam, Heaven's Arena, Yorknew city & the Zoldyck Family arcs the rest is weird and made no sense, the Greed Island arc was one of the worst arcs ever. the chimera ant arc dragged on far too long. but it was good i enjoyed it some episodes. but i still think it makes no sense why the chimera ant arc is the biggest arc of this anime when the story is about Gon becoming a hunter to find his father ... just for Gon to act like everything is okay as if Ging is just some random dude he finally met and doesn't question his absence etc.... but whatever Ging is a terrible father and does not deserve to have a son like Gon like why would you let your son go through so much Bullshxt and you don't even care, plus they didn't even explain why Ging is so unbothered ??? i thought he had a super power like seeing the future or something to explain why he's so calm about things but he doesn't ??? so that means he just wanted to get rid of Gon but he failed because Gon is naive and didn't give up because he wanted to find his father, i hate Ging i truly hate him. Thanks to Killua for being a true brother to Gon without him Gon would've died. |

| I really enjoyed the final arc. I really wanted to drop it during the entirety of the ant arc. I just didn't like it at all, and I have so many pet peeves with this anime that I can't get over. I really wanted to enjoy this more than I did. I wouldn't have watched it if I had known the ant arc went on for as long as it did. It was so random. Nothing went anywhere with the spiders. They kept bring characters back to life who should have stayed dead or at least never had a fakeout scene. But anyway, it was a good anime to have going on in the background. I really love the characters. I wish we'd seen more from the blonde guy (I'm bad with names). Was raelly hoping black-haired glasses guy would become CEO even though I knew that was too good to be true. Argh. |

| after all these years this anime is always on peak.. its almost 10 yrs since I finished hxh but nostalgic feels hit me again daym, i feel like i was back in my jr high days such a nostalgic feeling. a brilliantly crafted finale that encapsulates the essence of adventure, friendship, and growth, leaving fans both satisfied and nostalgic. i already rewatched this anime 3x maybe rewatch it again in the next 6-8 yrs |

| Hunter X Hunter is so far, one of the best shounen anime I've ever watched!!! It deserves the rating it has currently(9.04)!!! That said, I loved the whole thing. And I feel a bit sad cuz it's over now :( And I'm definitely gonna read the manga soon. Thank you Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio!!! I had so much fun watching you guys going on your journeys!!! 10/10 <3 |
| Oh man. It actually ended. And in such a powerful way. Even though it was not a goodbye forever, still leaving Kurapika's thread dangling, it was pretty satisfactory. See you later, Hunter X Hunter. Thank you for the great times, and thank you to Togashi sensei for this great story. |
| I still consider this my favourite anime. The message still holds up after a year and a bit since the last time I watched the ending. Even if you've completed your main goal, there is always more you can achieve in life. And also respecting and prioritising your relationships, that which is important to you. Don't rush, take in the time to enjoy the process. Even if there is no official ending, this will be the ending in my book. It concludes Gon's arc in a satisfying way and gives us the final secret about Ging. It shows us where everyone else has been, Killua on his journey after finding his goal, Leorio studying to become a doctor, Kurapika going further into the depths of darkness, Meruem and Komugi's last stand, Mito recieving the letter about Gon, and Gon and the others watching the birds fly past, enjoying the little detours to the fullest because that's where you'll find things more important than what you want. |
