I think Yano and Ryuu made this episode...
Would have to agree. Yano is so cool and Ryuu had me laughing out loud, like still calling Sawako 'Kuroyama', and reaction to the note... his chibi face is always so cute!!!!! ;D

Can hardly wait for the next episode ^^;

I liked this episode so much I watched it twice.
It was a surprise that Ryuu confessed to Sawako his feelings for Chizu , I liked it.

Way to go Yano! you're my heroine, just punch Kurumi in the face already.
It's great that she's aware of everything.

"Let's just root for them in the shadows."
Yeah right...
If Kurumi was smart she would have given up already.
But seeing that she has stalked him since middle school... that's not likely to happen soon.
It's kinda fun to see what she does anyway. The tension. And how she gets owned ;]

The next episode looks promising (:

I'm so glad there is someone else who wants to damage their screen just as much as I do when they see Kurumi.

She has that effect. The shithead effect.

Which means the writers are doing a good job. ^^

Cookie-kun is the best. I love him.

The ending was awesome. I think Kazeyaha just died of a heart attack.

" Wow, I wonder how my thoughts made it on that piece of paper." rofl :D

Yano, Pin and Ryuu made this ep epic:).

I also symphatize with Kurumi, love is war and desperate times call for desperate measures:D. She should realize that it's too late though.
Sawako is at least as annyoying from time to time, even if she usually cracks me up.
Well that's just me. So don't hold back on your killing intents toward Kurumi xD.

Well I am not sure what I can say that y'all have not summed up so very nicely. I am waiting for the cat fight of the century....cuz Kumuri just sunk her battleship. Yano knows the game she is playing and can totally out play her, can't wait. I TOTALLY love Ryuu and his confession of love for Chizu, there was fangirl squealing going on during that time. It was so sweet. And at the very end Kazehaya face just was heartbreaking, but then the preview of next week made it all better.

So I am going to just wait, patiently, NOT, for the next episode.

What's funny is that Kurumi thinks she can get away with this, the little schemer. But Kazehaya's insecurity does really work in her favor.

Actually, I like Kurumi's character. Look at it from her point of view:

- All your life your looks and intelligence made most things easy to maintain. Now that isn't working.
- The girl who should be your enemy refuses to be one, refuses to be intimidated and, most confusing, continues to like you. Now you've two situations you've never encountered.
- And you know that lurking in the shadows is someone who not only is just as smart as you but has the muscle at her disposal to back up any plans she puts in motion.

One of the reasons I really like this series is that Kurumi is simply Sawako's rival and not some cardboard cut-out villain. She not a evil person, really, and I'm betting will come out of this the better for it.

Agreed. Although Kurumi is clearly the antagonist in the series so far, she has a sympathetic plight which adds a healthy amount of grey area instead of everything being black and white. Also, even though Kurumi isn't being honest to Sawako in words, she's dropped the cute-girl pretense in front of her, at least when they're alone. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sawako win Kurumi's true friendship in the end despite everything; she just seems to have that effect on people once they get to know her.

What's really interesting in this episode is that Kurumi switched tactics. She's finally realized that her manipulations are powerless against Sawako, so now she's taken to manipulating Kazehaya instead. I wonder if she's really going to have the stomach for it, though, since it seems to have worked a little too well. Does it matter to her that she's hurting him in the process?

Is it me or someone was spying on Kurumi/Kazehaya here=>

I think all it is is that the animators have chosen a subtle way to frame the scene that adds to the cloak-and-dagger underhandedness of Kurumi's actions. And since you bring it up, notice how the window panes join together in exactly such a way that the two of them are shown separated? That's no accident. :)

Did anyone else notice that Kurumi is voiced by the same actress that does Haruhi Suzumiya? A lot of people seem to find her annoying, too, I've noticed. :)

After this episode, I'm sure that the best characters on this series are the supporting ones. Kazehaya and Sawako just aren't that interesting IMO, or rather, the other characters are better and far more interesting, I'm not sure.

You know what? I feel bad for the bitch. She worked so hard to keep up a fake facade, kept Kazehaya from ever getting close to another girl and prevented herself from confessing and/or moving on. All for what? Only to lose to someone who is the complete opposite of what she is or what Kazehaya's preference would be. Even if Sawako was not in the picture how long would she have kept it up, anyway? ...fail.

Aaaaand Yano and Ryuu ftw~! <3

Kurumi what have you done??! You know you don't want Kazehaya to be hurt, do you?! I really hope he doesn't lose his radiance or his friendship with Ryuu now.
I hope that Kurumi realises what she's doing and stops it. She's not a bad girl, but what she's doing is not good. I understand she's in blind love for him, but her shocked expression when she saw his face gives me the feeling that she might take it a little more easy, at least on him. She desperately wants to be his girlfriend, but she also doesn't want Kazehaya to show her that face again since she cares for him in my opinion.
At any rate, the preview and the title of the next episode is reassuring.

Win to Ryuu's awesomeness. "Kuro...Ah! Burakku!" X'D
His love for Chizuru was pretty obvious, but I'm happy that we got to hear it directly from him. I think he really likes Sawako since he was able to tell her so easily (and he almost remembers her name! XD).

Yano-chin is win as well. No explanations needed.

I also liked Pin in this episode. His immunity against Kurumi was fabulous! (he was like "WTF's with this girl" LOL XD)

I am not surprised that Kazehaya is little jealous to Ryu and Sawako. It was good episode, and the progressing is nice so far. It's too bad that next episode will air on January 6, 2010 due to holiday. I understand completely that Kurumi is in blind love for Kazehaya, and her expression is shocking when she saw Kazehaya's jealously face.

In fact, Sawako is very much like a cardboard cut-out in that she's completely unrealistic and two-dimensional. So far, Kurumi's actually the most developed character.

I third this. As someone said earlier, the support cast carries this show. There's no way in hell either a person like Sawako or Kazehaya could exist in this world, much less in the same class:D. Well anime is not about realism but still, i prefer the more "alive" characters. Grey always >>>>>pure black/white.

And next ep Kurumi will probably break down crying, seeing Kazehaya's reaction to his plot. She doesn't want to hurt him (or even Sawako)...

I agree that Kurumi and Ryuu are more developed than Sawako . . . but I think Sawako is a force that pushes these characters to their limit. If she wasn't there would any of these characters have expressed them selves to their fullest potential? Just a thought ^_^ I think she's two dimensional for a purpose that works for the story. I don't think her character is unrealistic, I think her character is misunderstood, people really can be that naive and quite. . . Also I do like Kurumi's character though, she is doing things blinded by her emotions not because of hate.

I'm not ashamed to say I almost cried at the end of this ep just looking at Kazehaya's pained expression . . . just from seeing the preview from next week I can't waaaaiiiitttt to see what happens! Oh how I wish it would come sooner
