| I completely forgot about this part in the light novel until someone pointed it out here. I remember the same thing happening when I read volume 4 and as watching this episode. I had to pause to see if I'm watching the correct anime. When I read the light novel, I had to check if it honestly was the correct one. Haha. As for this episode. Did anyone else noticing Cid like constantly training? Not only does he have weights on his arms, his shoes were heavy as hell when he "dropped" them in his locker. Also did the fist training in classroom. I love those small details. The Moonlight Sonata was beautiful and in a perfect moment. The death scene looked more brutal than I thought. I hope well see next episode in like a more third person view than from Cid's own view. Since he is apparently buffed as hell due to his training but he doesn't seem that way in this. If I can see that and the moment of his death from his own view then I'm sure as hell know this is gonna be adapted well from the light novel. Looking forward to more every week. Gonna re-watch the first episode now. |

| I've been reading the manga the moment it got out, so hear me out... WTF was this!? Is this how the LN's vibe go? this was way different from the slapstick comedy the manga has. This was fckin edgy and dark throughout. Do they plan on having a serious tone for this series? Although you do get a small bit of foreshadow of how he deems himself the MC the moment he said *You were technically a named NPC* to Akane, bro believes he's the main player and everyone is just an npc for his conquest lol. Cid's chuunibyou was so strong he actually trained his ass off and fought off people just to push himself to his limits. I truly hope the adaptation doesnt disappoint that much. Anyways yeah, the start is a little jarring for me. Was not expecting this of all series to go for this kind of tone. I hope they dont drop the comedy that much. |

| I was expecting hulk Cid and his inner monologue, not whoever this girl I am not going to care about is. Feels like they were trying their hardest to give me migraines with the story and the awful visuals. |

| As someone who's read some of the manga before, I expected a much more comedic start than whatever this was. Apparently it adapted a later part of the LN as the first episode. Interesting decision but I'm not a big fan of it. The only reason I like this series is because it's funny, so I hope we'll see some of that charm soon. |

| Pretty nice start. Although I have to admit that for my most awaited non-sequel anime this season, it's a bit painful to lose whole first episode on such introduction. This assault added the presion of time and increased direness of situation by making protagonist's intervention the only way to solve it - without it there would be no reason to don't wait for the police. Was it needed? I don't know. Personally I don't like those but I can see why they are used. What I do know, is that I hate when people throw around "literally" when something isn't literal. |
| Fire episode! It felt refreshing to see the story be told from the side character's perspective at the start and the backstory being fleshed out. I can't wait to see if the anime will bring this atmosphere into the world the protagonist was isekaid or not (I hope it does tho). |

| I can already tell I'm not gonna this like this. Visually it looks okay but the part I worried the most this is just gonna be another isekai shitshow with terrible (if there is any) story that just sings praises about how amazing this cringey delusional chunibyou twat of an MC While the girls are fine but we know they all worship the MC like everyother idiots in this show. Now I probably won't drop it but I know I'm gonna be disappointed |

I 100% disagree, that part literally could have been removed without affecting the story at all. Could have stopped at the slap and achieved the exact same result. That's what happen in the sc material, no pantyshot, no shower scene, no r attempt. Man the anime is really horny. |
