I said mushoku tensei is no.1 in japan at streaming sites,not in TV.

It's obvious jjk or demon slayer will be no.1,they are shounen and gets a reasonable time so that everyone can watch it on time. And since mushoku tensei isn't very family friendly it gets a late night time slot

Yeah we both are stubborn on our ends,so I don't think we will reach a peaceful conclusion,so lets end it here.

But anyway at the end of the day,it is fact that mushoku tensei is getting popular in both japan and the west. And especially in Asia since we get it to watch for free on YouTube

I don't think so. The anime is quite heavy with some of the sexual innuendos especially with the eroticism and perversion of Rudeus. Terms like lolicon translate to 'pedophile' in the western world so having a pedophile main character is not going to catch onto the mainstream like wildfire. The perversion is something seasoned anime fans can probably tolerate but a set of fresh western eyes would probably detest it.
I can certainly see it getting a wider cult following within anime communities, especially if more volumes are translated as the story really starts to pick up and excel later on.
In Japan it doesn't have that restriction due to the large amount of hikkikomori and lax societal expectations about sexualization of minors.

could you see yourself watching it with a family from say age 10~30

could the little kids, teens/ parents watch it?

The answer is, no. It might have a big following, but it will never be considered mainstream.

oh probably not, but it's going to be successful enough that barring mismanagement Bind will finish the story.

the bruh moments in the first cour are going to be an insurmountable obstacle for people with a low tolerance for anime bullshit. So Mushoku Tensei is going to be highly regarded by anime fans going forward, but it won't find crossover success especially in the West. it will probably get very, very successful in Japan, but I think ultimately 86, which runs parallel to it, is going to be a much broader Western success.

Mushoku Tensei is too realistic for the sheltered insane mindset society is in presently. This show is better left down where it can be enshrined by people who value it, instead of in the view of the masses, where it'll become cannon fodder for idiocy.

Took the words right outta my mouth. It's less of a matter of can it and more of disallowed; at least in the West. The pendulum is swinging back towards the center but your average Anime goer is still way to sensitive and will turn molehills into mountains. Anything outside of a specific set of sensibilities will get ignored at best and slandered at worse.
