Ngl I was really underwhelmed by the first few episodes. Seriously regretted spending £60 for the blu-rays and even considered dropping it entirely. Everythi
But I must say the characters are really growing on me, especially the side characters like Yano, Yoshida and Kazehaya who've been getting some development. It's becoming less like the Sawako Monologues Show and more like a cute and fluffy tv series, even if it does annoy me how they all act get emotional like they've been besties with Sadako forever and sacrifice their reputations to defend her when a few weeks ago they were just as scared of her as the people they were fighting against.
Kazehaya seems to be the only one whose relationship with Sawako isn't unrealistic. And Ryu. But then again, he's kind of a random third wheel whose friendship has thus far been determined by proximity to the main group.

| @BritishBlitz87 Well to be fair, some friendships do form fast. Like a coworker of mine. After a week of sitting near each other, we struck up a conversation. We just spent hours talking, and we talked about some rather personal stuff too. Just a short time of knowing each other! When you gel with someone, you just do. Some things really aren't complicated tbh. And the writing of this show is genius, because it makes their friendship believable, by highlighting how simple it truly is. No need for that pretentious BS of trying to justify the friendship. They're friends because they simply get along. |
