haven't been able to read the novel yet, but considering all the nice people things are saying about it, i'm pretty hopeful this will be as good as the original

Not gonna be directed by Yuasa but hey at least it's still Science Saru. I'm really looking forward to this. Morimi doesn't miss and the Yojouhan universe vibes are awesome. Time to finally start chipping away at the Yojouhan novel - I haven't bought the novel for this one yet though, not sure if I'll be able to find it where I am.

It seems Yuasa is still busy with Inu-Oh, but Shingo Natsume is one of the finest contemporary anime directors, and has had experience working with Yuasa before, so I have no doubt he'll be able to make this work.
