| Otaku are usually as smart as everyone else and even though they act nerdy, they still lack the supernatural intelligence of a real nerd. Real nerds spend more time studying than indulging and entertaining themselves. Knowledge is not exactly what an otaku is looking for or what they really desire. I know many otaku who refuse to be like on a quest like achieving infinite knowledge. That just sounds silly for 'em. Math and science is not really their thing, especially nuclear physics. They don't care that stars can fuse two hydrogen atoms into helium, the tensile strength of bone or how fast bacteria can grow. |
