| Using build 123. With Media Player Classic "Status" and "Now playing" work correctly. When I switch to Windows Media Player in the settings, then play the same avi in WMP I get "Status: Unable to recognize media" and hence "Now Playing: --". Could be I am missing a setting somewhere, but I can't for the life of me find where. |

| Ah I knew I should have added more info:P WMP11 (11.0.5721.5230 to be exact) Filename of this one would be BambooBlade23.avi. *edit* Actually I renamed it to see if that would fix it, just found out the space is required to have it register as the Bamboo Blade. and it all runs on a totally updated windows XP prof. I swapped a few skins, mainly using basic2 with no luck. I did have an ancient version of MAL Updater installed before, could it be remains of that perhaps? |

| "Bamboo blade23" will work, but not "bambooblade 23" I have added a new check for such cases where your filename has a single word but the original name has more than 1, a special match will be attempted, so this will now be recognized. There will be a new version sometime this weekend. As for WMP11, I have tried but it's detected fine here.. does it still not work for you? Skins: since a few versions back, you need to redownload the skins, I said so in the release notes :) |
| Yeah I redownloaded new skins. The Bamboo<nospace>Blade thing just happened cause I decided to rename it to make sure no add chars in the filesname messed it up. It all works perfect with Mediaplayer classic so I'm stumped. I'll go have a try at reinstalling everything. |

| reinstalled, it, no go still. It did remember my name and password. Seems the install leaves some stuff somewhere. Since I did have an ancient version installed before, I wonder if that could have left remnants that mess everything up. |

| Yeah, any extra themes you installed manually aren't deleted. You must redownload those. |

It's actually better to leave the names as they are, even if they have garbage like CRC numbers etc, since most of the cleanup processes take care of that; but joining all the words together in one is a bit troublesome :p Malu splits up all the words and tries different mathing methods, including also the alternate names etc. |

| When i tried to update bleach to 164 it would not update. when i looked at my list it said i had 144/154 eps. 144 was what i had i while back i just havent gotten arround to updateing it yet. as for bleach it should not say 154 because we dont yet know how many eps there will be. |

| in the case of unknown eps, it takes your last+10 in the upcoming build you can raise the max. episode manually in such cases |
| when the MAL Update plugin turns on > the winamp plugin for music on msn gets error (the same happens with the msn plus and last.fm plugin for msn) it turns off the 3 of them |

| MALU seems to update the "now playing" thing in MSN every few seconds. So when you are playing other none anime stuff and MALU is running, it resets it back it nothing after a few sec. Might wanna change it to when media changes? Oh, and the WMP thing I mentioned above, can't figure out why it ain't working, just using Zoom or Media Player Classic right now, they work like charm. |

| Program is working great! I absolutely love what you've done with it! The only bug I'm really finding at this point seems to have to do with recognizing names with underscores... though it's only happening on one set of files I have, which is strange. To clarify, when I open this file: [AnY-Nanashi]_Ichigo_Mashimaro_-_05_[0132FB52].avi the program gives an "unable to recognize media." However, if I rename it: Ichigo Masimaro - 05.avi it has no problem. There was a similar post about Ayako releases earlier, so it may be related, in which case you already know about it. Of course, there is an extremely user-friendly manual update button, so it's not really a problem; just thought I should bring it up. |

| My themes don't seem to be working. I move the files into the 'Theme' file but I can't unzip them as they automatically download as .rar files. Just wondering if maybe I just need to restart or I'm not downloading it properly. |

| it's not just a file, in the theme loader I do various things: - check if all the theme files exist - check the encripted .xml (not really a xml) file for all the fields, version in which the theme was created, and if the folder has the same name as when the theme was created |

| I was downloading themes and checking them out when I came across a bit of a problem. The MAL Updater sets itself above the Settings window when the theme changes and I can't move it away to get back at the Settings window, because the Settings window is still open. Closing it was the only way to get it back. |

You can use the popup menu meanwhile for fast switching of themes (right click on the main window and a popup comes up with a list of all the themes, without having to use the theme center or settings window to switch themes) |
| I'm experiencing a similar problem to Kuyukly. When I open the Settings window, I can't close it when I click on the check mark. I had that problem with all of the other versions, but it was solved when I clicked on the shortcut to the updater. Now that doesn't work and I can't close any part of the updater. |

| So for the themes, do you just have to download to the themes folder? When I download themes, they won't work and don't show up when I open the folder (they do show up when I try to save another theme, though). |

| Yeah, you have to put them in the themes folder. You can right-click the download link for each theme and save/as and direct it to the themes folder. For next version I will make it load and install themes when you open the file, like winamp does.. so you can just download/run the theme file |
