Love the backstory didnt give a clear explanation , it wants you to use your brain and speculate. Liked this ep , but i feel the mysteries are increased even more now.... |

| 🤯 So much explained in this episode, like everybody has said information overload. For a second I thought Gendo wasn't Shinji's dad because in the backstory his last name was different but then the wedding invitations axed that theory. Crazy that Akagi killed Rei and I think she may have shot herself due to the guilt of killing a child. Would she even have a gun? Misato did but she was like an officer and Akagi was like a scientist. Maybe Gendo shot her? Either way I think present Rei was a clone and I've thought that for awhile, this just kind of reaffirmed my suspicions. Let's see what curveballsa are coming in the next episode. |

| I wondered if it was just me who had trouble following this episode. Even reading a summary was confusing. |
| My brain is spinning quite hard. O man the lore. The disgusting lore. But I still can't deny the fact that the story is doing the job the way it intended by the author. From Gigguk's POV I already know the author didn't care about the state of mind of readers, he just wanted to express the absolute mess. |
| bruuhhh what the hell Rei?😭😭 she ain't normal that's for sure...is she really a clone of Yui ikari? i mean there was hints even in the early episodes. it's not going far to assume it's her that pushed Dr.Akagi down there too. that was one hell of a back story. But why tf Dr.Akagi was going after Gendou while having a daughter that is 16 years older than shinji? i need to look into their birth years. lol and then by the looks of it my guy Kaji got shot. that was alright but it's hard to see the best girl Misato crying mannn. |
