So, even though she said it's for her sister, Mika subconsciously wanted to go on a date with Yuuto herself, because she hadn't realized she likes him. Too bad this isn't a harem.

And that dumb scene towards the end about the cultural festival should have been part of the next episode. It ruined the entire mood of the fireworks scene, which is where the episode should have ended.

That, at the end, was a declaration of intent if I ever heard one.

Strike early, strike hard.
Don't allow the other side to get their feet set firmly on the ground; while they are off-balance, a well-placed shove can cause them to topple.
She who hesitates is lost.
Once you determine your goal, pursue it with all your abilities.
Never concede defeat, but persevere until the last bell rings.
If your opponent isn't aware that a conflict exists, and it truly is beyond negotiation... keep them oblivious to what is really going on for as long as possible.

However, I would advise the following:
Unless you plan to destroy them utterly, avoid action which will shift them from being a competitor to a lifelong enemy.
Even when acting in opposition, strive to show the benefits of allying oneself with your faction.
Where possible, attempt a negotiated settlement of your differences.
Be true to your word in spirit as well as the letter of the contract.

Not sure how much of that will prove relevant to this Anime.

Cute episode, this is a sweet and enjoyable show. Little sister and Shiina are both better than Haruka. Nice cake splatter on sister's face heheh. Yuuto is a good guy
