Which one of these anime you think is most disliked by MAL users?

Every other top favorited anime is either immensely popular or much higher rated. Does this mean that NGE has a lot of fanboys, or that it has a lot of haters (bringing the score down despite being favourited by many)? Oddly enough, looking at the top 50 favourited anime, most of them has 8+ rating, with few exceptions, but SAO has the lowest rating, it may explain why they "stand out" more than FMAB "fanboys" and look more prevalent within the title community itself. The concept itself of "fanboyism" seem linked more to anime such as SAO than FMAB. Fanboyism has a negative connotation related to aggresivness or toxicity. Toxic FMAB fans are more "hidden" within the "non-fanboys" who mostly also admired the show, unlike SAO. Since it is "the norm" opinion to have FMAB as favourite anime, less people question their taste, hence less conflict with them. It is like Trump's supporters (against the norm) who stand out more than the liberal leftists. |
