On the other hand, I love Ikuhara shows (think Mawaru Penguindrum and Sarazanmai.) basically, either relatable shows or art-house shows. ❅ Dislikes (genres, demographics, themes): Not a big fan of gore anime. Fantasy settings bore me (both High Fantasy and Isekai Fantasy settings) Some fanservice is fine but excessive fanservice is a huge turn-off. Also no Top 100/Popular! | ❅ Min-Max length (episodes): - Any amount of episodes is fine, but I'd personally prefer a 12-24 episode anime over a 50+ episode anime. ❅ Likes (genres, demographics, themes): - Psychological Thriller is one of my favorite genres, I like the suspense and I especially like when the main character is extremely smart or powerful (ex. some of my favorite psychological thrillers are Parasyte, Code Geass, and another one I really love that I just started watching is Moriarty the Patriot) - I also like when there is a deeper meaning in the anime that you wouldn't understand when you first begin watching the show. - The animation quality doesn't have to be great but I really like when I can enjoy the animation (Shows with great animation and great plots tend to be really entertaining for me) - I like when there are many "relationships" Doesn't have to be romantic, examples would be relationships between friends and family. I enjoy observing the interactions of characters with one another and I like shows where it shows the character getting to know someone really well and becoming good friends or where the character already has a close group of friends and they are shown interacting many times in the show. - I also like when there are well-written female characters in the show that are fleshed out and have character development. In many animes the female characters have little personality and little development (if they are even included) so I'd really like one where the female characters have strong personalities (I really like how the author of Attack on Titan wrote the female characters because while it's not the best, their backstories and motivations are shown and they improve as people in general throughout the anime) ❅ Dislikes (genres, demographics, themes): - I really wouldn't like to watch an anime where the main focus is on the sexual part of relationships. - I was trying to write here a list of things that I don't like in romance anime, but then I realized that there aren't really any romance-focused animes that I can say are my favorites or that I had no problem with. So I'd prefer if it wasn't a romance anime. - I don't like the tsundere trope. There are some exceptions, but yeah, I'd rather not watch an anime where the main character or the love interest (or both) are tsunderes. If they have some characteristics of a tsundere that's ok, but I mean full-on tsunderes like Taiga from Toradora. - I probably wouldn't enjoy an anime with a lot of basic tropes though (ex. glasses guy, cutesy girl, formal girl, pervert-- this trope I absolutely despise so please not one with a pervert) - Excessive fanservice or fanservice that is borderline sexual harassment or one with r--pe scenes (Shows that have fanservice I'm ok with would be classroom of the elite) Although barely any fanservice or none at all, would be preffered. - I do like slice of life animes but I honestly wouldn't want to be reccomended one to watch. ❅ Any sub/stream restrictions?
