| In a sense, this sub-series is almost like trivia. Or even exclusive bonus material that limited people have seen. I mean... the official production body involved with the canon series had a direct hand in this stuff, of which most others have not seen before. Those of us who bothered to watch this have seen patented "Akame ga Kill!" media that the majority has skipped. Think about it chief. Anywho, here's some screencaps I took from various points in the ONA:           |

| This is the perfect closure to the shitshow main series, the true ending, the ultimate happiness. Seeing many of the main characters be together and have a party to celebrate it really joyous to see, the fact that some of them even broke the fourth wall, stating the obvious aspect of the anime and manga is all the comedy this short needs. However, best of all, the final scene, the soothing call of Tatsumi's name from Mine, followed with Tatsumi, embracing the lovely Mine as they gaze upon the scenes of the past gone by is truly the cherry on top. This is the absolute best ending possible, they might have died but their soul and feelings lived on. This may be the last time I'll ever see these characters and especially both Tatsumi and Mine be together, but although my heart quaked and tears swell from my eyes... I can rest assure that Tatsumi x Mine is canon and that eps 23 and 24 ending of this short series ending is simply a continuation, a eulogy for the likeable characters that have fallen to usher in a new era of peace and harmony. ༼ ಥ_ಥ ༽ |
