Yesterday wo Utatte will only have 12 episodes

Called it few weeks ago. It was weird after seeing the Blu-Ray contents on their website..

Also, seems like no one's checking on this but
to add to this 12 episodes anime and 6 short extras, seems like they're adding some filler from the manga in the form of voice drama (1st ep is 12 mins long)

1st episode out today, sadly its only in Japanese unless someone gonna sub that and put it on Youtube.

1st ep: Summer, Fireworks, Goldfish and his bAck
2nd ep: Innocent Blue
3rd ep: Helping with moving out
4th ep: A woman named Yuzuhara

If anyone can pinpoint which order they come into the anime adaptation, will be much appreciated!

Then this ending wouldn't have the good feel of the manga.😔

Awww... This is really disappointing. I hate it when anime have super rushed endings, especially in this case where the story seems to be building up to something. Well, here's to hoping it can at least get a competent ending.

Well, that explains why they finished it before whole coof thing. If it was 18 normal episodes they would have problems.

This, I legit came to check the rest of the forum to see when I actually missed this as I only found out today just before watching the finale... I was looking forward to another 6 episodes :(

What a shit!! what a disappointment!
That reminds me of what exactly happened to RELIFE when they shortened a lot of chapters and adapted them into just 4 episodes!
Now my rate will be 4/10 after it was 9/10 'cuz of that f**king end.
Guys, which chapter that episode 12 covered? I may try to continue from that chapter?

In other topics, ppl said it skipped chapters, not the ending, seems this the ending of the manga, it skipped develpoment. Read the other topics and u can find the answer of wich chapters you should read.

This is disappointing news. The pace really looked like it suited more than 12 episodes, now to cut it off just like that in the middle of the tale is such a letdown.

Hoping this decision can be reversed, or at least the remaining 6 episodes can still happen.
