| I don't know anything about this other than people really, really liking it, and I'm already captivated by Sakuta's wit and stoicism alone. Couldn't love the way he handled his friend's girlfriend's confrontation with him more if I tried. As ominous as the journal entries to never forget Mai are, this was a solid hook. |
| Well that was different from what I was expecting. I remember hearing a lot about this a while back and this has been sitting in my list since then but I just kept putting it off until now. I had no idea about the supernatural elements in this show! I'm still confused on like what exactly the syndrome is but I hope it's explained more later on! For some reason it didn't really occur to me that people just can't see Mai like at all now, meaning a lot of things are just way less convenient now such as buying food (I guess she could steal stuff?). Although, how exactly does it work? That lady didn't know about her, but her the MC's friend did even though she's basically a celebrity? Not only that but whatever this syndrome is seems to be spreading and the number of people who can't see her seem to be growing over time. And to add onto all of that, there's a chance the MC will one day forget about Mai, although he did leave himself a note to make sure he doesn't, if that even helps. I wasn't too sure I'd be into this but idk I really want to see where this goes! :D I need to see more of Mai 🤤 |
