Name: Artence Knighton Gender: Male Age: 19 Magic: Summoning: Souls Magic explanation and abilities: Artence’s magic is to summon souls and beings made of them. Currently, he has one ability which is:
Magic Cooldown: 4 post use, 3 post cooldown Level: 1 Personality: Artence is a reserved person, though he is kind and polite at first he is quick to make judgements on people. He tries to act serious on occasion, but usually keeps to a more carefree personality, with a few streaks of discipline here and there. He is seemingly always tired and faint, which might have something to do with how serene he is; he just doesn’t (or can’t afford to) use energy on getting upset or being energetic. His constant state of calm is also a very useful asset for deception, and makes him hard to read,most of the time. Surprisingly, he is also very easily flustered when teased or in questionable situations. Appearance: Bio: Artence’s parents were knights of their faith, but probably not the type of faith you were picturing. They belonged to a cult in which the main gods were Mortem, Chao, and Clādes (basically death, chaos and destruction in google translate latin (thanks Muffin) ). As you can tell, these were nice people. Very nice. So much so, in fact, that they’d frequently send their neighbors gifts of spears to the throat. They lived in their own small community, in which Artence’s parents were particularly high ranking and renowned, but despite their small size they were regarded as a threat by many nearby settlements, as they had some very powerful magic users on their side. His family was one source of such magic users, and all of his family utilized soul magic, which was passed down from the earlier days of the cult, and whose existence was a large basis for much of the faith. See, the family had descended from one of the cult’s original members, who had gained her magic by sacrificing the souls of slain enemies to one of the cult’s gods. Edgy as hell? Yes, but it worked, and made her family “living proof” of their gods’ existence. And now, many years later, it had granted her family a position of power in the cult. Members of his family all took to the battlefield at a young age, all eager to serve their faith and put their training, and later magic, to good use, but Artence served a different purpose. While the magic of his siblings strengthened them using other people’s souls, his used his own, and it was through the strain of splitting his soul for the first time that he gained his everlasting lack of physical and emotional energy. While not unfit for combat, he was better used as a spy and assassin. From a young age, he’d go to other communities of an enemy group or those allied with them and he’d take on small, unassuming roles. All while using his magic to collect information. This was often followed by assassinations of high ranking people, and it soon became a popular superstition in those small areas that any person constantly watched by crows would die. This made them highly paranoid, and was excellent for his own cult, which took advantage and began preparing for a large scale attack. Meanwhile, Artence was on a job in the territory of the cult’s biggest enemy; The Sect of The Three Divines. He was to collect information on any upcoming attack, and for that he got as close as possible to the daughter of one of their commanders. Far too close, as he’d realize only once he’d betrayed her trust. He had heard that the Sect had been planning action against his cult, and sent news back home as soon as possible, knowing full well that the news would prompt an attack on the Sect. He was fully convinced that everything he did for the cult was good; he hadn’t ever thought that maybe they were in the wrong. When the attack from the cult came though, it was more merciless than before, and seemingly without any aim other than to cause pain. Their main targets were completely innocent people, the general’s daughter among them. It was only then that his faith began to waver, and it’s been unstable as hell ever since. After some rumors that the Sect’s leaders would be sending their daughter to the Institute, Artence was sent, but he was completely without any of the zeal he once had for the cult. He was sent by the Sect so that Miranda would have someone to travel with, and by the cult to, well, do what the cult does. So, before leaving, he met with the leaders’ daughter; Miranda Priestly. They ended up getting along surprisingly well, he hasn't let anything slip yet, and now they have reached the Institute. @Muffinizer |

She can draw inanimate objects or small creatures in it and they will be summoned when she finishes drawing them, noted by her signing her name on the drawing. The largest creature that can be summoned is a cat and the creatures have no magical powers whatsoever aside from existing in the first place. The inanimate objects can't be larger than a cat either and she doesn't have the scientific knowledge to imagine any simple mechanisms. Even the idea of a lever baffles her in real life yet alone in a drawing. Magic Cooldown: Autumn is a really big perfectionist when it comes to her drawing so she refuses to ever rush a drawing. It will take a minimum of 3 posts for her to finish even a simple object once since she insists on adding shading and colours to everything. The magic itself doesn't have a cooldown, it's just a book after all. However, she is very unlikely to just immediately jump into starting another drawing when one is finished. What's the point of drawing if you don't take a moment to appreciate how pretty it is? Additionally, she can only have 1 object or creature summoned at any one time, and most of the time she keeps a small talking bunny around she named Coco. Anytime she isn't using her book for something else, Coco is bound to be around. Autumn treats Coco as the actual conscience of the book, whether or not he actually is or just a random talking friend remains a mystery. Level: 1 (Does this book even hold anymore power she doesn't yet know of? I guess we'll find out) Personality: Autumn is defined foremost by her optimism. She always finds a way to see some good in a situation and genuinely enjoys living life to the fullest. She is often very energetic and is more likely to idly dance than stand still if she is waiting around, regardless of the weird looks she might get. Although she is quickly to form friendships, she has trouble relying on other people. Her constant outward optimism makes it hard for her to admit when she needs help, preferring instead to pretend there just isn't a problem and that everything is going just great. The only person she opens up to is Coco, and he's never really been great at providing advice, just making sarcastic jokes and listening. Her father brought her to the castle on official business once while she was really young and then mysteriously disappeared after disagreeing with the king. However, by this point in their visit Autumn, curious as she was, had already wandered off into the castle. She ended up growing up as a random child who wandered around the castle. Nobody remembered where she came from, but she knew every servant by name and was friendly with all of them, from the dishwasher to the king's personal assistant. In turn, they were all friendly with her and loved to share meals, clothes, and especially stories with her during their downtime. It was also in this setting where she took up drawing. Everyone needs a pass-time after all! There was no gift she loved more than a pen or ink. However, it was nothing other than sheer luck that made her stumble across the enchanted sketchbook. After a noble passed away with no heir, some of his possessions were sent to the king, who left the task of sorting them to the head servant. When the head servant saw an unused sketchbook with no obviously value, he passed it on to Autumn, figuring the object was insignificant. Over the next few years, many laughs would be had at the mischief this book could cause, from spooky floating candles that spooked the cook to convincing the jester his pet cat had a kitten. All good things have to come to an end though, and since Autumn couldn't be a child forever, she decided that eventually she had to find her way in the world and after a tearful goodbye, departed the castle, leading her to where we are today. |

Kazegaya, Yuuto 風早 悠翔 "Can you feel the breeze?" Character Information Name: 悠翔 Yuuto 風早 Kazegaya Gender: Male (Often confused for female) Age: 18 Magic: Elemental-Wind Magic explanation and abilities: There are many different uses to wind magic but Yuuto has only learned a few uses to it so far. For level 1 he will only know Flow Detection: Yuuto takes a moment (1 post) to concentrate and feel the wind surrounding the area around him (radius of 50 meters) causing the wind to carry smells towards him or enhance his hearing by cancelling out the breeze nearby. This ability can't be used continuously (cooldown of 3 posts) He's found this skill pretty helpful when hunting but it sometimes backfires when there are multiple smells or sounds around him making it harder to pinpoint which direction each one is coming from. (A recon skill) Flow: The ability Yuuto uses most often which allows his body to move more freely and easily, this is made possible by the wind around him being controlled creating less air resistance plus pushing him in the desired direction allowing for smoother and more free movement of his body, it can be activated almost instantly but requires a good amount of concentration and energy, this increases his Speed and Agility. (Extra mobility) Wind Barrier: It's more of a protecting wind that pushes back objects or things that come towards it slightly slowing them down protecting Yuuto. The effectiveness of the barrier depends on the size and force of the incoming object, magic attacks effectiveness would be reduced slightly depending on the type of magic. If a person approaches the barrier they will just feel a resistance pushing them back but it can easily be walked past with some effort. Keeping the barrier up uses up energy by each post. (Defensive skill) Air Slash: Yuuto uses his sword or any sharp object available to send out a cutting wind. The distance the slice can reach before dispersing back into nothing is 2 Meters, it's visible to anyone appearing like a ripple in the air, the damage of the wind depends on the sharp object that was used to slice from the very beginning so a knife's Air Slash would do less damage than a swords one. It can be used twice per post with a one post cooldown. (Attack skill) Gust: Focuses a high pressure wind right in front of Yuuto blasting back any close proximity objects or enemies, this also pushes Yuuto back slightly. It can only be used once each 3 posts. (A pushback) Magic Cooldown: Detection: 3 Posts Flow: 1 Post Wind Barrier: 2 Posts Air Slash: 1 Post Gust: 3 Posts Level: 1 Personality: “Hmm? You want me to describe myself? Let’s see… my name’s Yuuto, I’m 18 years old. As you can tell I’m not human, I’m a kitsune of sorts. Oh yea I’m a guy in case you haven’t noticed so don’t go trying any funny stuff. My hobbies would include eating delicious food, napping, occasionally reading some books and of course going out on adventures. Things that I dislike would be rude or loud people and chores. Once I make a promise I never break it so you can count on me, but I don’t make promises that easily so don’t think you can make me do your chores. Well that’s all that comes to mind, as for now I’m joining the Institute of Magic to improve my magic skills and to find out what happened to my family and my village.” Appearance: Bio: Yuuto’s village consisting mainly of kitsune race is a remote place almost unknown to most people, as a small boy he would always head out and explore the surroundings usually ending up in issues or him getting scolded but the boy was a free spirit and he always knew that this village wasn’t the place he wanted to spend his life in. Being independent from an early age Yuuto learned survival skills quickly and how to handle himself without the need of others help, his parents supported him when he might need it and knew that he would leave home once he’d become old enough which for the kitsune race is at the age of 15. It was all a carefree happy childhood until the fateful event of Yuuto’s 15th birthday. Leaving the village in his usual manner, Yuuto headed out to the forest, this was practically routine for him at this point but the amount of different things he found in the forest always changed no matter how well he knew his way through it. Excited for the occasion which was gonna be his birthday Yuuto happily went through his usual exploration of the forest, he knew his parents had a surprise ready for him once he would be back but he was gonna try his best to seem surprised. The day was uneventful and there wasn’t any sort of new discovery for Yuuto but he felt like it was enough for now so he made his way back to his home only to find that there was no home, more like there was no village, no people, there was nothing left, the place he remembered clearly from that same morning was nowhere to be seen. Frantically looking around Yuuto tried to make sense of the situation, as he was searching around for some clues he spotted something by the spot in which his house would normally be, it was a sword wrapped up in a cloth with a note tied with it. Happy birthday was the only thing written on the note. After three years Yuuto has learned that some events such as teleportation can happen randomly, moving people or even cities to other locations at random, as for now he isn’t sure if that was the cause for the disappearance of is village but that’s the closest clue he has to maybe finding them. Deciding that his best option would be to research on the subject Yuuto headed over to the institute of magic and enrolled. |

Since summoning: 3 Magic: Transformation Magic Magic Abilities: Shape Shifting: Capable of changing their shape and form into whatever they want, as long as they have eaten it, the Goliath is capable of bringing every advantage of a certain shape to themselves. This, of course, comes with it's disadvantages as well.
Level: 1 Personality: Basically a newborn child, Goliath doesnt have any emotions built into it. Although that can change depending on what it's master wants. Normal Mode Appearance: Combat Mode Appearance: Bio: "Born" from an alchemic ritual gone wrong, Goliath was a glob of goo. Like a slime. But was capable of changing shape and density. Which made it capable of changing itself to look like a certain material. After it's many hunger rampages, Goliath became capable of imitating near every common shape/size/object/item. Even hair and fur. Eventually, Goliath gained a standard form to make it easier to interact with it. Goliath was sent to the institute for testing purposes, and hopefully find a suitable controller. Name: Wendy Gender: Female Age: 24 Magic: Summoning Magic Magic explanation and abilities: Wendy can summon a ghost, but has not been able to summon it in it's entirety. For now, she can only summon it's clawed hands, and when she does so, the ghostly hands appear over her own, almost acting as gauntlets. The tips of the fingers are formed into deadly looking claws. Magic Cooldown: 1 post to summon the claws, and they can be in use for four posts before they disappear, requiring 3 posts of cooldown, and then another one to re-summon them. Level: 1 Personality: Usually, she is a quiet, yet strange woman, who enjoys comedy. The years of therapy seemed to have a few adverse effects on her, and she scarcely remembers much about her previous life, or who she really is anymore. She is highly impressionable, and is desperately seeking a new purpose, and new friends. And, despite all the years of therapy and mental reconditioning, she still can feel someone, still hear them. They're quiet, and muffled, but they are there. And she's afraid that with the passing of time, they're getting louder. Appearance: Bio: Wendy was born to a fairly prominent noble family, the third child out of five. Her parents were strict, and didn't tolerate abnormalities, failure, or anything else that might tarnish the family's long and prestigious reputation. In her younger years, Wendy wasn't exactly normal. While being surprisingly well-spoken and observant, she often would display a lack of empathy, even by the standards of a child. Things that would make most other children cry, in fear or in sadness would make her laugh. As she grew older, her behavior only grew worse. She would frequently torment servants, other children, animals, and her siblings. Playing elaborate, yet cruel and unusual pranks, often directly or indirectly harming others, her apparently finding it all hilarious. Her parents would harshly punish her for such behavior, yet no matter what they did she wouldn't be deterred. Eventually, they tired of trying themselves, and quietly had her committed to an Asylum in a foreign country, under a different name, to spare their family from the shame it would bring. At this Asylum Wendy would stay for the next eight years. During her rehabilitation, which the details of are unclear, but apparently had something to do with mental-based magic, Wendy had lost all traces of her original self, even apparently forgetting much of her original life. And at some point during her stay, she developed her ability to summon the ghost that she now has the power to call upon. Once she was finally deemed safe to be released back into the world, she was an adult, and had long since forgotten about her family. She decided to enroll at the Institute of Magic, to develop her newly found powers, and to try and find herself, although, perhaps it's best if "herself" stay lost. |

As a child she ended up being spoiled which caused her to feel like she could have anything she wanted given that she already got most of what she wanted. After growing up more and maturing she started to notice the difference in the care that was given to her brother and to others around her. She didn’t understand. She thought that most parents treated their kid so caringly as her did with her. She wasn’t sure how to ask though and she never understood why they would give her any special treatment. When she started to realize this she started to slowly push aside and ignore the praises that were given to her for it became normal and unfair to others. During school she found an archery club that was being advertised and checked it out. She was hesitant at first cause it was not one of the things she was taught. She found it as an opportunity to try something new for herself. After enough training with the bow she started to adore using the bow and arrow and began training in the woods as well. Outside of her home at school she at first was pretty social but as she grew up she started to keep a lot more in and guarded herself. She felt it was the smart thing to do given that not everyone she met was going to be good. She knew that anyone could change sides as well. She did make a few good friends or acquaintances before graduating from high school. For some reason it took the longest time for her parents to let her go to the Institution. She figured it was them trying to protect her but she assured them over and over that she would be okay and for them not to worry. Appearance: Normal attire Formal attire. When she was still a baby her birth parents never nourished her properly and neglected her they couldn't handle having a child so they left her on another person's doorstep who ended up becoming her adopted parents. They have two alive adopted parents but believe are birth parents to her they are very loving they coddle her and and spoil her to give her the love that they believe she needed from how she was treated before they adopted her though sadly they are strict or her brother and doesn't treat him as nicely as her which upsets her even if it doesn't upset her brother. Even though she was used to it, she never liked being overly praised or got special treatment from her parents. Not when she saw how differently her brother was treated. Not only that, she could tell from growing up around others that weren’t treated the same as her she knew how unfair it was. Always trying to be the coolest one in the room, he can't stand it when people ignore him. He loves shiny objects, and hates being cold. He only ever lets his guard down around his twin sister, Megumi, whom he trusts dearly and always tries to protect. He likes all sorts of animals, except insects, he has an irrational fear of spiders. Had a pet cat named Ryu. Appearance: Bio: Hakuya was born and raised by his parents, both of them were magic users, one could transform into a raven, while the other could transform into a hawk. He believed his parents to be kind and loving, even if they never showed it to him and only his twin, Megumi. For some reason, they always expected the best out of Hakuya in everything he did, be it studies or sports. He didn't mind the difference between how they were treated, as he believed he was carrying the burden for both of them, as long as he continued to carry their parents hope and dreams. His parents run some sort of courier business and want their son to take over eventually. At first Hakuya likes the idra, even taking part in some nearby deliverys. But on one delivery he had something catch his eye. He sees some jewelry lying on the ground, he pocketed it and began to start a collection of pieces. Eventually Megumi caught him admiring one of the pieces and he confessed his true feelings he had held onto for a year. He didn't want to take over the family business anymore, he wanted to become an artisan, a fine jeweller, as he had always admired the skilled hands and beautiful craftsmanship of such small and delicate materials. It was tough going through life, being treated coldly and told to only do things a certain way, but Hakuya soon developed a front that would help him deal with these issues. He began to act confident and cool to try and get his parents off his back a bit, but it only made them pile on more instead. Music lessons, tutors, coaches, all were hired to help turn their son into a perfect person while Megumi was simply left to choose her own path and supported along the way. Hakuya thought he would have lost his mind a few times if it wasn't for his sister, the one person he could turn to when he felt like complaining or anything else as no one else would give those feelings he had the time of day. He worried a lot more about if what he was doing was the right thing for both of them, but Megumi would always help keep him on track and moving forward. The two eventually learned of the Insititue thanks to Hakuya's parents and were sent to go there so Hakuya could become even better, Though Hakuya refused to go without Megumi, and eventually his parents cracked and agreed to send both of them. |

But if treated with hostility, he'll usually just walk off or completely ignore it, but very rarely he can return the favor, as he's always prepared to fight if the situation requires it. He's also not afraid to manipulate people he dislikes to serve his own purpose. On the other side of the coin, he treats his friends like family, willing to do anything for them. Early on in life he started noticing, most other persons couldn't live up to his standards, and so he never had many friends. But the ones he had meant the world to him. No one, except a small boy who had the wit to run for his life without looking back, a boy who was now all alone in the world. If taken too far Leon looses control and will attack indiscriminately until he's stopped or his energy runs out. The semi transformation takes a lot of energy so after use it will leave him exhausted. Magic Cooldown: 4 Posts Level: 1 Personality: Leon is mostly reserved and silent, he keeps his thoughts to himself and speaks only when it's necesary. Although he acts this way he is kind and has a soft spot for cats and dogs, he's level headed and usually doesn't let his emotions take priority on his decisions. Leon us currently trying to find some sort of meaning in his current life after his master had passed away so he isn't really aware of normal human interactions or things that may be normal for others. Appearance: Bio: From a young age Leon didn't know what a family was since his had sold him off to a slave trader, living a childhood of countless hardships he continued day after day laboring on hard jobs just to receive abuse from his owner. His owner had messed with the wrong people ending in his murder together with most of the other slaves he kept, only Leon and a few other kids where left behind to starve as the days passed by one after another they would die until only one was left, just as he thought that this was the end for him a strange man burst into the place to find this half dead kid. Taking the kid with him the man raised him and gave him a name, Leon, he said that it was because the kid would eat like a lion while laughing but Leon never really got what he meant. After many years had passed Leon has grown up to learn all of the things his master had to teach him except the way to control his magic which he himself didn't understand too well, it was as if a demon took over him at some point when he was a kid but he can't recall what was the cause of this happening but now that his master has died he doesn't have anyone else that can help him figure this out so Leon decided to head to the institute of magic where he might find a way of controlling this demon. |

Name : Mathias Erixial Gender : Male Age : 23 Magic : Transformation Magic - Keeper of the Dead Magic Explanation & Abilities : Mathias is able to transform his body into that of a Grave Keeper, a dark being from his homeland. When in this form, he is able to use shadow like powers to attack enemies with supernatural abilities. His transformed form gives him minor boosts in agility and strength but it is nothing extreme. While as a Grave Keeper, he feels no pain, as the dark entity itself is not of this world and is immune to the pain mortals feel. Currently... he is only able to use shadow ravens that fly at high speeds at enemies, cutting them as if they were daggers. Magic Cooldown : Takes 2 posts to transform at first. Transformation lasts 3 posts. (In this mode he can only currently use one shadow raven per post.) Cooldown is 4 posts. As he progresses in power, he will be able to use more shadow ravens, extend time he is transformed and unlock new attack abilities. This shall vary on level. Level : 1 Personality : Mathias shows little to no care for anyone around him. His task is to further his own goals, even at the expense of another's life. He keeps a solid focus on everything, but his lack of general emotions towards others give off a sense of dread. Silent and observant. He speaks only to establish what his opinions may be. Appearance : Bio : Bio : Mathias was born into an odd family. A family of guardians of the not so normal kind. His family lineage is known to trace back to a certain Druid, whom made a pact with an old dark deity of death. To ensure his family would always be respected out of fear, the Druid offered his descendants as servants to this dark deity of death. This arrangement came in the form of a family curse, least to outsiders it seems a curse, to the family it is an honor to be chosen to carry the mantle of a Grave Keeper. Each generation of the family would have one person who would be able to become this dark being. The Grave Keeper came to be known as a creature of evil to most, fueled by pure dark magic. Despite this horrid image in the public, the Grave Keeper is a guardian spirit, who protects the resting place of the dearly departed. This of course ties into the fact that Mathias’s family oversees the graveyards in the city he is from. But this power also grants the wielder the ability to communicate with any dead spirits in any location, as they are tied with the deity of death that bestowed said power. Mathias grew up being a quiet boy. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to partake in stuff with others, but more that he just saw dealing with the regular people as an annoyance. You see, Mathias had always been a focused, cunning, and rather ruthless person. He saw fitting in with normal people as a waste of time and preferred to observe from afar. Whenever he did have to mingle with others, his words would be twisted, to have people give in to his will through sheer manipulation. In the rare cases that he had to deliver his opinion though, Mathias would leave people weeping in sorrow, shouting in anger, or running in shame for the most part. Let’s just say, Mathias showed little care to those around him, so his words never held back any form of brutal honesty. When Mathias learned that he had inherited the power to transform into a grave keeper, he was not the happiest person. His family would tell him he had a huge honor now, but for him it was just an unwanted weight he had to carry around for the rest of his life. Of course, this mindset would change when he was 16. Mathias was walking amongst the tombstones that decorated the vast graveyard field, when he noticed grave robbers in the distance. The sight of useless scum desecrating the final resting place of someone who had earned their eternal rest infuriated him. At this moment he transformed into a Grave Keeper, quickly dispatching all the robbers. This quick response brought forth the attention of the deity of death who had been responsible for granting this power to the Erixial family. The deity who revealed his name to Mathias, told him the true reason he had been chosen from his generation. Mathias was to truly unlock the full potential of the power, as others before him only relied on brute strength to fuel the transformation. Mathias’s natural wit, knack for strategy and excellence in the study of dark magic were key to further the powers of the Grave Keeper form. The deity told Mathias that if he could truly master this power, he would be able to truly have a power that could make the masses cower before him, even the snobs in control of the city who had lost any sort of respect for his family over the decades. This potential intrigued Mathias, who now saw this unwanted weight as a perfect tool to use for his own ambitions. With his new focus now set, Mathias would now aim to uncover all the secrets of this being he could transform into. Granted he needed practice to be able to further his powers, as just reading about stuff only did so much. For this he left his home and began to travel, to find a spot where he could further his powers through practice and study. He set out at 20, journeying on his own for a while. His travels of course exposed him to all the wonders of the world, both good and bad. Of course, one of these bad things became a rather relaxing hobby for him. Drinking. Mathias soon found himself at bars wherever he traveled to. A place where he could mingle with others without needing to watch his words as all the drunks always talked bullshit either way. Plus, occasionally he’d find someone interesting to talk to who wouldn’t be complaining about dumb things but bring up interesting topics about the world around them. At 23, Mathias finally found a place worth attending. The Institute of Magic. He applied to this place and thus has arrived to further his goals in life. After all, he had something to master, so he could head back home and take the reigns of power over the city he calls home. A malicious smile would appear on his face as he would arrive at this institute. After all, what people could he find that could work to further his own plans, as pawns of his grand scheme of things? Appearance: Bio: Luna comes from a family that was cursed by a very evil and despicable demon. Her father and great grandfather have the curse of turning into a cat when hot water is poured on them. To turn back into a human, they have to go into cold water. This cursed was passed on to Luna and now Luna shares the same fate as them. The curse has its good and it’s bad. On a full moon, Luna can’t turn into a cat or use her cat reflexes. On a lunar eclipse, Luna can’t turn into a human. Despite all of this, Luna had a decent childhood. Luna’s mom is as a normal human, while her father was a cat man, due to the curse. Her parents gave her all the love and affection needed. They were very powerful so they protected her from the many harms of the world. Luna was bullied a lot by other humans because of her cat feature. She has very bad memories associated with bullying and is quick to get upset when the memories pop up in her head. Once she hit 17, she decided to enroll in magic Institute in order to be become stronger and become as strong as her father. She also wants to find the demon that put this curse on her family and kill them in order to break free. |

She play nice to you, but underneath, she is just thinking of a way to use you for her gain. Euphemia is the type of person that would do anything to get what she wants. If she has to flirt, so be it. If she has to betray, so be it. If she has to kill..well you get the gist of it. Appearance: Bio: Euphemia was born into a pretty crappy and poor family. For starters, She was an accident. Her parents were both drunk and had sex. The most messed up part was that was their first time meeting. There was no real love in this family. Her parents would argue in front of his face and after the arguments was when there was trouble for this young girl. They would constantly tell her that she was a mistake and that she should have never been born. They would tell her all types of horrible things. One day She was sitting in his room when his parents came into her room, drunk and drugged up. Her mother hit him and dragged her into a chair. She strapped her in the chair as his father came from the kitchen with a grin and a butchers knife. He laughed evily along with his mother as his father started to cut Yuki. In her stomach her hands. They untied her after an hour of constant abuse. Yuki ran up to her room and cried her heart out until she decided not to cry anymore. She got super mad and that’s when she discovered her powers. String game out from her fingers. They cut some of the basic stuff in her room. Yuki practice using them until she had enough practice to set a trap. She made a circle with her strings above her door. She then called her mother and told her that she had seen dad with someone else, so that she would come. Once her mother walked through the door, the strings fell over her head and until her neck. Yuki pulled the strings and killed her. She then waited for her father to get home. Just as expected he was drunk and drugged. She laughed evilly, put some water in her eyes and ran out the door past her father. “Help help, my dad went to far and killed my mother” the guards believed it because they had a history of always being drunk. They took the father away and to prison for life. Yuki then left that village, to never be seen again. |

She will always go out of her way to help a friend. She is super naive and is easy to trust others. Appearance: Regular Ice Queen Bio: Yuki spent most of her life within a special orphanage for people with magical abilities. She heard from her guardians a few times that this orphanage was actually created with help of her father who was a very powerful dark and light wizard. Her father however had vanished when Yuki was just an infant, leaving her in the orphanage. She never really met her mother. Nobody ever told her anything about it. When she would ask, they would state that they don’t know or they changed/dismissed the conversation. Yuki never really mind because the people there were very kind and caring. Kids in this orphanage had really happy childhoods even if they were orphans. Guardians and other kids liked Yuki very much because of how bubbly fun and smart she was. Yuki discovered her powers when she was 10, there was a girl in trouble, she was being chased by a forest creature that had gotten into the village. She was desperate to save the girl. She ran towards her, grabbed her hand and lead her away from the creature. But as they were running, the creature used its claws to attack them. When she looked back, she saw those claws in her face but luckily her ice magic activated. The floor turned to ice and the monster slipped and feel. The towns guard were able to capture the monster and as a reward for somewhat helping. The girls where treated to lunch. Over the next year, the girls had become best friends, that is until Yuki had to leave with the orphanage. The orphanage left to a bigger and safer village. |

She never went to far with it though but just enough to irritate or annoy the others which she got a kick out of. She wasn’t all that big of a fan of her own power finding it was a lot less fun than others and not for her. Even though she may not seem it she does then to be a little sensitive to some things.It takes alot to embarrass her. She is protective over those close to her. Because of her dislike to her powers she chooses to use her father’s daggers on the side which she self taught herself. This was something she would regret in time, the fact that she had taken them with her to the institution in secret from him. Her parents were mostly loving but they did not want her to be involved with weapons or this war. At least not in battle. Even though they were fine with her going to the Institution they were worried if they would go against their wishes of staying out of danger. Her mother was also a healing user and taught her as much as she could. Even to make herbs on the side to avoid using too much magic. Whatever remedies to prevent sickness. She was grateful for the lessons she gave her. She knew they didn’t want to lose her cause when she grew up more and was mature enough to know she learned of the fact that she was not their first child. She's not fond of staying indoors especially when alone. She does not own a specific pet. She'd rather be around wild animals. Her parents are dead. Killed by evil magic users at age 13 and had to fend for herself. She does not handle loss that well when it happens but she puts on a strong front as if nothing is wrong. Doesn't handle loneliness well and either paints, walks in the woods or drinks to lessen the feeling. When she feels upset she brushes it off or holds it in wanting to stay strong knowing her parents would want her to. That's all she knew to do to keep her occupied. His mother also had Transformation magic, so this power was passed from her. His dad is a normal human that works in the industries. He has always lived in the same place, in the city where there is always a rush and never time to rest. Even so, he had a good childhood. Not many friends because if they didn't look down on him they were scared of his powers. He didn't mind, he prefer to be feared than being looked weak. When he heard that the Institute could help him push his powers to the maximum, he told his parents his decision to leave and learn more about it. |

She can also change one state to the other. Level: 1 Personality: silent, observant, imaginative Appearance: Bio: She was a pretty lonely girl, much of her time she was sited staring at a lake. One day, she saw a fish and wish she could see it close by. By her surprised, the fish with a bubble of water got closed to her. She was amazed and call her parents. When they saw this they notice their little girl had powers, she had 9 years old. After that, she show her powers by doing smaller bubbles and letting them fall on the kids. The kids like it and turn to be her friend. But soon she notice that it wasn't just fun, but also very dangerous. She noticed this when some kids were teasing her about her powers, she got angry and change the bubble of water into a sharp ice shard and shoot it in a kid's shoulder. She gasp when this happen and was afraid to use her powers again. She stop using it until some days ago when her parents talked about the Institute. They promised her she could learn how to control it and being able to use her power again without fear. She agreed just because she couldn't bear to hurt her parents. |

Overall she appears friendly on the outside but is quite cautious when it comes to meeting new people. @Exitthisway Curiosity question What about objects that need to be in contact with the summoner? Or else they disappear after a post or two without contact from the summoner. Example My character Annalise Summons crystal lances But the moment she lets go it will disintegrate after two posts or immediately if someone other than her or her brother grabs it. Does your guy’s magic override that or not? Aside from that question Everything else checks out |

@Ze-Lem According to the rules of her magic, as soon as anyone else attempts to touch the spear, it disappears so no he cannot take it. At that point, depending on how exactly it "disappears", it'll either shatter as soon as he attempts to steal it, or he'll successfully take it but the tattoo will fade immediately. This will burn up his use of his ability putting it on cooldown. |

A few days before her biggest competition someone had used magic while she was out on a ride spooking the horse. After her wrist had mostly healed it was covered in scars from doctors trying to repair the damage. Still not being able to play at the level she was she decided to come study in this school. Name: Protagonus Stratus Gender: Male Age: 20 Magic: Transformation magic: Minotaur Magic explanation and abilities: Protag turns into a Minotaur for a limited amount of time and grows in size and gain tremendous physical power and endurance. Magic Cooldown: Protag Minotaur transformation is different from most powers. The cooldown of the ability depands on the amount of the ability used. So for 10 posts of activity the ability has a cooldown of 10 posts and for 5 posts it has a 5 and for 2 posts activity it has 2 posts cooldown. In short the cooldown lasts for the same amount of time as the active ability. But the ability can only be active for a maximum of 4 posts. As he levels up this will go up as well. Level: 1 Personality: Protagonus is a very nice but timid man. He isn't very socialble but is quite friendly and funny when you get to know him. He is generous and shares what he got with others. He always tries to help even when not asked and has a hard time hating people. However he is quick to anger and can react very violently to provocation. This is mostly due to an aggression problem as a side effect of his ability. This expand to even sadness as the only way he knows to deal with negative feelings is through violence. But he is also quick to forgive but he never forgets when wronged. However he has a hard time forgiving people who betray him. Being as generous and trusting as he is he expect the same from others. As a Minotaur his agressivness is increased greatly along with his strength so it's best not to anger him in this state. He also becomes less socialble and more awkward in this state not because he gets more timid but because his morals gets conflicted. The line between right and wrong becomes slime and he can do some very questionable things and also things that aren't really in the "social norm" of things. Bottom line, he becomes a weird aggressive guy who is hard to get along with. Appearance: As a human As a Minotaur Bio: Protag hails from a small village and is the son of that village's chief. He was born as a normal boy with no great amount of magic or anything. He lived his life normally and in preparation of becoming the next chief of the village. He made himself friends and even got a girlfriend, everything was going well and dandy until one fateful night. On a full moon lit cold night something happened. He and his girlfriend were finally going to do it. They were going to pleasure each other's flesh but what would be a mutual pleasure ended up into a once sided one. In the heat of the moment and his aggressiveness, Protag turned into a Minautor for the first time and killed the woman he loved right there on her bed. It took him awhile to realize what had happened but once he did he took her body and hid it, then proceeded to flee back home to his father for advice. The chief then told him that the best course of action now were to flee, change indentity and enter the magic institute to learn to control this thing he had. After telling his father where he put the body a broken Protag flees his village and registers himself at the institute of magic. |

Name: Almon Reeb Gender: Male Age: 20 Magic: Transformation magic Magic explanation and abilities: Can grow any body part that an animal can have ((not robotic shiz)). Lvl 1: He can grow his nails into claws on his right arm. Sharp, strong, light, and long as 20 cm, they can be used as a little sword or a dagger. Lasts for 3 posts Magic Cooldown: lvl 1 magic: 2 posts Level: 1 Personality: Introverted, anti social, Almon has serious trouble talking to people. He'd much rather not anyway. He doesn't know to express emotions or even understand them, he's hardly any different from a robotic structure. He just wants to be free and secure. He hasn't any goals, dreams, beliefs, dislikes or likes. Actually, he likes, he has always loved the sky. Where the kind souls ascend when they have no more room in this world dirty by the evil of its doers. That place pure of all the evil down here. I'd he ever had a dream, he dreams of being able to ascend to the heavens and back to earth. There just is something that won't let him leave the earth for good. He dreams to be an angel, to serve the greater good. He is really a kind person. Probably.... Little does he know. Little does anyone know, Almon has a little something with his personality... Appearance: Bio: I remembering waking up there, covered by blood. Blood I swear I never spilled. Says Almon about his crime, all that stood in his way to enter the school. And my sentence? I was the rat they tried all they had on, be it meant for human or not. Earlier, Almon paid a visit to his family. Apparently, his brother hanged from the ceiling as his parent lied dead in the red of their blood. Of course they'd be after him, he just escaped with what they hid from the public. some of it at least. Almon had to work for them for a lifetime to be forgiven for his sins. The ones he never commit far as memory serves him. To be chased by such mighty force, that had his family executed soon as he managed to escape them, Almon needed a safe place. He however couldn't easily find that. It has been a long search. He'd lie in a different place and hear his mother's cries from the heavens to sleep every night. And that's how he eventually found the institute. Almon has been accepted as his innocence was proven somehow. |
